I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is.
She replied: I want to live in a developed India.
For her, you and I will have to build this developed India. You must Proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed Nation.
Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.
Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work; the railways are a joke,
The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
You say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.
YOU say, say and say.
What do YOU do about it?
Take a person on his way to Singapore.
Give him a name? YOURS.
Give him a face? YOURS.
YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best.
In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores.
YOU are as proud of their Underground Links as they are.
You pay $5 (approx. Rs.60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM.
YOU comeback to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over-stayed, identity.
In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU?
YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai.
YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah.
YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds (Rs.650) a month to, "see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else."
YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, "Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost."
YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand.
Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo?
Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston?????
We are still talking of the same YOU.
YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will thro w papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground.
If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country,
why cannot you be the same here in India?
Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal Commissioner of Bombay, Mr.Tinaikar, had a point to make.
"Rich people"s dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place," he said. "And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels?
In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job.
Same in Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here?"
He's right.
We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.
We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin.
We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.
We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.
This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public.
When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse?
"It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my son's rights to a dowry."
So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government.
But definitely not me and YOU.
When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away.
Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system.
When New York becomes insecure we run to England.
When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf.
When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government.
Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country.
Nobody thinks of feeding the system.
Our conscience is mortgaged to money.
Dear Indians, the article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too?..
I am echoing J.F. Kennedy's words to his fellow American to relate to Indians?.

Please spare a couple of minutes here........for the sake of India... our country. I got this article from one of my friend, but it's true, I can see this from day to day life, Small example, Before 5 months 1 CAN $ = IND Rs 32 After 5 months. Now it is 1 CAN $ = IND Rs 37 I don't think so, Canadian Economy is booming, but Indian Economy is Going Down .. Our Economy is in ur hands Do u know this, Indian economy is in a crisis - As you are all aware! India like many other Asian countries, India is undergoing a severe economic crunch. Many Indian industries are closing down. The Indian economy is in a crisis and if we do not take proper steps to control those, we will be in a critical situation. More than 30000 crore rupees of foreign exchange are being siphoned out of our country on products such as cosmetics, snacks, tea, beverages...etc which are grown, produced and consumed here. A cold drink that costs only 70/80 paise to produce is sold for Nine rupees, and a major chunk of profits from these are sent abroad. This is a serious drain on Indian economy. Did you know that " Coca Cola " and " Sprite " belong to the same multinational company, "Coca Cola " ? On one hand coke advertisements say that ' Jo Chaho Hojaye, Cocacola Enjoy' (i.e . whatever the hell, let it happen, you drink coke) ; and on the other hand, Sprite says that 'Bhujao Only Pyas, Baki All Bakwas' (i.e. drinks can just quench thirst all other claims are false). What can you do? You can consider some of the better alternatives to aerated drinks. You can drink Lemon Juice, Fresh Fruit Juices, Chilled Lassi (Sweet Or Sour), Butter Milk, Coconut Water, Jaljeera, Enerjee, Masala Milk.......... Everyone deserves a healthy drink, including you! Over and above all this, economic sanctions have been imposed on us. We have nothing against Multinational companies, but to protect our own interests we request everybody to use Indian products only for next two years. With the rise in petrol prices, if we do not do this, the rupee will devalue further and we will end up paying much more for the same products in the near future. What you can do about it ? 1. Buy only products manufactured by wholly indian companies. 2. Enroll as many people as possible for this cause. Each individual should become a leader for this awareness.This is the only way to save our country from severe economic crisis.You don't need to give-up your lifestyle. You just need to choose an alternate product. All categories of products are available from wholly indian companies. List of Products:

Please go to the remote areas of cities and see for yourself the truth. Thousands of poor innocent Indians are working as tailors for stitching the world's popular readymade clothes(Alan paine, Peter England etc.....). But they are paid a poor amount. This is happening becuse of our ignorance. India is one of the major textile exporter in the world.Our Tailors Are Famous Even In Countries Like US And UK. Then why should we blindly give in to the attraction of foreign brands? Please Think About It. Every Indian product you buy makes a big difference. It saves INDIA . Let us take a firm decision today. Buy Indian To Be Indian we are not against of foreign products. We are not Anti-multinational. We are trying to save our Nation. Every day is a struggle for a Real Freedom. We achieved our independence after losing many lives. They died painfully to ensure that we live peacefully. The current trend is very threatening. Multinationals call it globalisation of indian economy. For indians like you and me it is recolonisation of india. The colonist's left india then. But this time they will make sure they don't make any mistakes. Who would like to let a"Goose That Lays Golden Eggs" slip away. Please Remember, “Political Freedom Is Useless Without Economic Independence”. Russia , S.Korea, Mexico........the list is very long!! Let us learn from their experience and from our history. Let us do the duty of every true indian.
Neccessity of Tyranny
Scared! But think for a moment, in what we’re lagging?
Ø Unselfish leader
Ø Bribe less community
Ø Ethical politics
Ø Even standard of life
Ø Orthodox life style
Why, generically are we lagging in these concerns? Certainly not!
The above qualities we left in the wind as time passes. Also this is because of diversified rule we abided with. As typical human nature we absorbed the evil effects of those, leaving the good means in vain.
Also the worst mist we are covered with is, Democracy! Is democracy prevailing in our country? No, this is an eye impediment, through which we do our own malevolence at the cost of the former.
I can hear you! “This is obvious” – you say, “You’re Right”. But what we’ve done to prohibit this happening. Never we attempt to do so! Because we think politics and ethical behavior is for some strangers whom we identify by the political banner and not with what they’ve done for us. This is a good prospect for the criminals to play a part. That’s not their mistake; if there is a room for that certainly no one will leave his chance. They excel in that and still we blindly say “We rule our self”. This is insane! Are you being let to do whatever you wish? Only god knows.
This is where the need of a Dictator comes! “Are you joking? Ever you been in a rule of dictatorship? - You ask. “Why not once?” For at least a five years. This is not a blind statement! Take the example of Parvez Musharaf, is his rule an arrogant? He collected an uncounted amount of Rs. 10,000 crs at once he took his charge. Did he perturb the normal routine of Pakistani life? His rule was very much efficient, other than disturbance from local terrorist which is a common problem in any country.
I don’t commit that musharaf is the best, but he is a better one for pakistan.
Also this eliminates the hoax rule of our local fraudulent politicians. In my perception they should be jailed for at least 10 yrs and all their property should be seized. Never they should be allowed to participate in elections in their life time.
What they did to be punished?
Ø Got money for raising questions in parliament
Ø Involved in many bribery, not a petite! Only 100,500 crs
Ø Creating many problems that disturbs our stability, with the banner of politics
Ø Creating a room for terrorism, corruption and political instability
This is a sample, lot many we see! So is dictatorship is the only solution?
What about court? They are being established to solve this. Was this your question? I’m sure that will be the best gag of this year!
You would’ve noticed the corrupted pigs waving their hands when entering and leaving court and prison as they were there for fighting for freedom of country! Shame on our court discipline. Pick pockets who steal 100 rs will be assaulted for at least a week or 15 days, but the afore cited pigs who grabbed 100, 500 crs would be given first class jail.
How funny our court’s justice is?
If we comment on that its an offence! Who they are to control us? Those things are created for protecting us from harm, not the vice versa! There should be a department to monitor the court’s proceedings, if found guilty the concern person should be given the utmost punishment.
“Why you’re deviating from the problem”- you ask!
Can a normal person do this?

This is the only mode we can accomplish our dream. Am I right now? Not the autocrat should be a villain; he may be our hero if really he is! He may be the one who really loves our country very much, who dreams we should be the ONE!! ( He can be an IAS-IPS officer, military head & president too)
