My younger sister Ashley, and her mare "Chute She's Sweet" will be going to the WI. State 4-H Horse Expo, in West Allis This week. She will be showing in English Showmanship, English Equitation, Western Showmanship, Stock Seat Equitation, and Western Pleasure. Wish Ashley & "Scarlet" luck this week!

UPDATE - Congrats to Ashley with Scarlet on her Top 10 placings in Showmanship and Educational. Way to go!

Is everybody prepared for the cold weather? I just bought Paris a brand new winter blanket. It came from Schneider's Tack. It had everything I wanted (bellyband, shoulder gussets, seamless back, adjustable shoulder, etc.)  It was $130 but it shipped very quickly and I really like it so far.
In other news, I just returned home after spending a week in Seattle! It was tons of fun, plus it was my 3 year anniversary with Matt!  

Novemer 25th, 2006

Well my 22nd B-Day was on the 24th! It wasn't all that eventful, I would up working all day too. However I got a GPS unit from Matt! I'm so excited about it, and it's extremely simply to use. We also had a really nice Thanksgiving. It was my whole family, plus Matt, Crystal's husband Bryan, and our new room-mate Scott (from Seattle)

December 1st, 2006

Well we offically got hit with snow. Actualy it was classified as a blizzard. There goes my work week - We has two solid days in a row of rain, then a snow storm on Friday. It was crazy! We still haven't purchased a tree yet, but will get one up soon. Crystal's husband is in Arizona working, hopefully we'll be back in time for Christmas. I bought a new pet, a Veiled Chameleon! He's an adult male, and his name is "Turq" short for Turquoise. I bought him from a fellow horsewoman and a good friend of the familys'. He came complete with cage, drip system and all. I absolutley love him, and I can spend tons of time just watching him. He's eating and drinking extremely well, and is in overall good health.

Paris has being doing awesome this show season!! She's showing in Halter, Showmanship, and Walk-Trot Western Pleasure and Horsemanship.

She won 1st in all 4 riding classes today. Won 3rd and 4th places in big Halter classes.

   

Cool, I just got my nose pierced! Went to Black Pearl Tattoo in Kenosha Thursday afternoon. Evan kept my company and support. Going there, I was mostly excited. Once I got there, filled out the paperwork I had to wait for the piercer to set up. At that point I was mostly anxious to get going.

It was a very simple process, done with a needle. The needle was the only painful part, and it lasted for a second. It bled some, and stopping the bleeding was the longest part of the whole process. After that it was cleaned again, and away I went. I have a very cute, tiny crystal stud in my nose, on the left side. Aftercare is very easy, clean it 3 times a day. Some days it hurts a little, some days I forget it's even there. In the end, I absolutely love my new piercing, and everyone that's seen it has really liked it too! I'll update with a picture as soon as I get one!

Wow It's been a long time since I have wrote any updates. Since the last update, I feel like I have been lost...

I have decided to list one of my horses for sale. A really nice gelding, check out the "For Sale" page for info.

A lot has happened since August. My roommate and best friend Evan moved back to Seattle. Things weren't working out, I miss him dearly. :(   He made me feel like I am not so alone in this world. He kinda gave me inspiration to start writing again, and I have.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery, and is still recovering. It's a long road, and my heart goes out to anyone that knows anyone with cancer. My grandma has also been having some health trouble. She will be 89 years old in April!!

My older sister Crystal had a beautiful baby girl in October, on Sweetest Day! How cute is that!? Her name is Bailey Morgan and she is just a doll.

These days have been filled with a lot of ups and downs, it is very wearing. I am also completely burnt out with this crappy weather.
