About Music from the Hill

Music from the Hill is a CD collection of music written by student composers at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., released every 2 years by Muziko Nova, St. Olaf's student-run contemporary music organization. The first edition of the CD, Music from the Hill 2003, was released in February 2003. Recording for the second edition is currently in progress, and Music from the Hill 2005 will be released in April 2005.

Music from the Hill 2005 News

Award-winning Twin Cities-based composer Randall Davidson will be the primary selector of recordings to be included on the Music from the Hill 2005 CD.

The Music from the Hill 2005 CD release event will be held at 8:15pm on Tuesday, April 5 at St. Olaf College's Christiansen Hall of Music Orchestra Room. The event will feature live performances of music from the CD, followed by a reception.
