Hello and welcome to our site. We are Danny and Jeannie Cooley owners of Murphree Valley Ranch. Murphree Valley Ranch is located in North Alabama between Birmingham and Huntsville. This lovely land is the home to our Full-blooded Boer Goats and a small herd of cattle. 

 We have been raising Boer Goats since January 2007. Our herd had changed somewhat since then with the loss of a few and the addition of a few more. We are looking to improve the breeding and bloodlines of our herd and are trying to add new stock every year. Our pastures are ever expanding as well as our knowledge of the Boer and meat goat business.  We have experienced errors in judgment but with each experience we learn something and that’s what is really important. We are very thankful to the Boer Goat community for all the kindness and advice that has been received.
