Theatres des Vampires, one of the most important Goth Metal Bands,is
going to participate in the soundtrack of the animated short MURNAU THE VAMPIRE.
BRING ME BACK will be the main track of the film, from his latest production DESIRE OF DAMNATION.
Besides of 3 re-arranged versions of JESTER'S SHADOW, CARNIVAL DAY and CURSE OF HEADLESS CHRIST.
They also confirmed his participation on the album,
LISTEN THE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT
with a remix of LA DANSE MACABRE DU VAMPIRE. The original version
of this song is part of the DESIRE OF DAMNATION album.

The past January 22th, the band from Guadalajara BEU RIBE has confirmed their participation in the LISTEN...THE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT album.
The band´s vocalist GIORDANO, talked to us about their role in the project:

After announcing their participation with one track for the compiled album LISTEN...THE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT, Moonster also confirm the contribution of one more track at the list of themes for the album.
This theme will be completely inspired in MURNAU THE VAMPIRE and will be ready by May 2007.
The first theme that Moonster is contributing with in the compiled album is named CLOSE MY TOMB from their first album MOONSTER.

In addition to the MURNAU THE VAMPIRE project, OM Animation Studio will put together a compiled Album with musical themes specially created for the short.
These musical themes will be created by Bands from different parts of the world that will contribute with their talents to the MURNAU concept.
The participants who already have confirmed are FORLORN VALE, MOONSTER, BEU RIBE, THEATRES DES VAMPIRES, HOME MADE, MANZANA OSCURA & SOMNUS PRAVIS
The compiled album will be named LISTEN...THE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT and could be downloaded from this site for free under the Creative Commons licence in MAY 7
