Mum's the Word 2008 is a not for profit organisation who organise events to benefit various charities. Our most recent event was in aid of The Meningitis Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action two charities that are widely under recognised yet do a fabulous amount of work to combat two agressive illnesses. So, the very first Mum's The Word Concert was a roaring success, with the Soho Revue Bar absolutely bursting to the seams with those who had turned out to support their favourite singer or the charities. OUR NEXT EVENT
We are very excited to announce that "Mum's The Word - Take Two" will be taking place at the Soho Revue Bar on Sunday the 8th June. This will be a fundraiser for the event following this, which will be taking place at a West End Theatre. Keep your eyes peeled for news of that. "Mum's The Word - Take Two!" tickets are available priced at £12.50+booking fees from TICKETWEB and are selling out fast so you need to get your skates on if you want to attend! Due to venue lisencing this event is only open to those over eighteens. Have a look at our PERFORMERS page for updates as and when confirmed acts* are announced.
PRE-ORDER MUM'S THE WORD ON DVD!
The DVD of Mum's The Word will shortly be on sale. However, as they are extremely limited supply, you may order your copy of the DVD completely free of charge by heading over to our DVD PREORDER. As soon as the DVD goes on sale you will be notified and your copy reserved. Payment will then be requested. The DVD is a complete bargain at £15 including postage and packing so get in there quick if you want to order a copy.
