Electro / Jazz / Dance / Improv / Fusion Music

The 2nd Edition of the “MultiSonicFest” festival will take place in Bucharest from 22 to 25 September 2005 and will include 7 concerts of Fusion-Music, filling the gap between contemporary avantgarde music and jazz, combining traditional Asian and African instruments with electric sound sources and new technologies, mixing dance with video-performances, melting classic-contemporary musical textures with world music grooves, and improvising experiments.

The purpose of the festival is about going beyond boundaries, transcending different genres, styles and artistic backgrounds and refugiating from the predictible, trying to create the opportunity for this new kind of music to be heard in Romania, according to the latest international artistic wave which brings the necessity of interaction between Romanian and outstanding foreign musicians, in order to challenge the preconceptions about what the music should be.
