After looking at 1up 4up last week, I decided to move on and try a 2up 3up. I juggled the 2up as columns on the outside of the pattern while the 3up was a crossing throw from the left hand going through the middle of a crossing duplex from the right. I may look at variations of 2up 3up another time.
I then found myself going back to 1up 4up by accident. Last week, I had been looking at throwing a low duplex then straightening my arm to catch both balls on the forearm of the throwing hand - one ball on the elbow pit and the other a little further forward. After some practice, and with the help of my squishy otedama beanbags, I managed to make the forearm catch using both arms in synch. At that point I decided to apply it to a 1up 4up and it worked.
So, for some fun this week, try one round of this trick. Throw a 1up and make the catches of the 4up on the forearms. Have fun!
