The "New Kid" in Town
QUARTER-ACRE RESCUE RANCH

AND EQUINE ADVOCACY CENTER
We are a newly formed privately owned Animal Rescue & Equine Advocacy organization located in beaufiful, bountiful upstate New York. Due to our special love of horses and an awareness of the dangers the horse faces today as a species in an increasingly hostile "un-horse friendly" world, we originally formed as an equine rescue. However, due to our love of all animals and our inability to turn any animal in need away, we have had to modify our purpose to include helping animals of all kinds. We will gladly do what we can to help any animal, animal lover, rescuer, pet-owner or anyone else with animal related needs,.... and will do so without question or critisism.
Most of our rescue work is done through local, national & international networking with like-minded orgs. Chances are, if we cant help you, we know someone who can.

* The horse pictured above is our frst rescued horse, Banners' Misty Comet, a registered appendix quarter-horse mare out of Sunny Go Lucky / Sunny Dee Bar lines. Comet was young & perfecty sound when we bought her "right off of the truck" on her way to a Canadian slaughter house. Comet, along with three other of our rescued horses, were donated to Beth Hill Ross of New England Equine Rescues (NEER) in RI, who greatly disappointed us by giving them all away with NO CONTRACTS in place to protect them.
