Now the West 7th St First Church of God (non -denominational) located at 312 W 7th & Isabella Streets in Newport Kentucky - is broadcasting its 11 AM worship service EVERY Sunday on the WWB ~WorldWideBluegrass.com. If you need prayer requests or have special needs contact pastor@w7th1stchurChofGod@fuse.net;
We are needing bluegrass, country or southern gospel bands, trios, duets, or soloists, to perform on the broadcasts during the live worship service each Sunday..
There is no pay for this broadcast - the broadcast itself is a way to have your group be heard on the WWB and it is a service you perform
for the Lord. Our small congregation would be happy to have you sing for them on Sundays. Must be prepared to sing at least 5-6 songs
(30 minutes) before the message is delivered by the Pastor, Rev. Carl I. Howard.

One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism.
THE CHURCH OF GOD
The Church of God is the only institution on earth that is of heavenly origin. It is the only institution on the shores of time that will continue to exist eternally. All else will pass away with the closing of tie. The glory of empires, the magnificence of civilization, the grandeur of monarchies of time, will have no reflection admid the glories of Heaven. The splendor of earth's fortunes, the renown, of eloquence and oratory, the famed schools of learning, the enchantments of beautiful forms and cermonies and creeds will find any imprint, will have no representation in that land beyond the grave. Only the Church of God will shine there. It came down from Heaven and will return to Heaven.
The Church of God is God's body, not only on earth, but also through all eternity, the Church is God's habitation now and forever. God will dwell in His people and His people dwell in Him, while the cycles of eternity roll on unending. The Church of God on earth is God's incarnation among men. As men read in the history of the true Church, they will read the biography of God. The life of the church is His life. The world is God's creation as a Creator, the Church is His creation as a Life Giver. It is His own life. It lives in Him and He in it. The church is a mere creative act, but by being born of God. The church is born of God in Christ and is the offspring of God. God loves the world as His creation. He loves the church as the life of His life.
The Church of God on earth, contains heavenly elements and nothing that is not heavenly. The Church bears God's name, and image, God's views, His own likeness in His church. The church is a mirror which reflects all the Divine perfections. The Church of God is a living body. It lives upon the life of God. God life flows through its veins. The life of Christ circulates freely through His church, as freely as the blood circulates through the human body- the church is His body. It feeds on heavenly food. It breathes the atmosphere of Heaven. God and man united in Christ is the church. In the Church of God, is the uniting of all saints with God and with each other. The manifold wisdom of God the mysteries, of God, the character of God is revealed through his church. God in His beauty, shines out of the church. She is all fair; there is not spot in her. God made the sun, the moon, and all the shining stars, but He does not make them His dwelling place. When He built His church, He said,"This is my rest; here I will dwell and multiply Myself; here I have found such beauty and worth as to call out the fullest capability of My love; here I find the fullet complacency of My being; here I see of the travail of My soul and I am satisfied."
The Church of God is attended by the ministry of angels. It is the only institution on earth that angels desire to look into. They pass every other thing by, but stop at the church to admire her beauty and to bestow their ministr. It is theo nly institution on earth that affords joy to the angels. It is the only Institution over which they sing,"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace good will toward men." All of the conquests of the church on earth bring joy to the angels.
The Church of God is the only instrution on earth that can worship God. God is to be worshipped, must be worshipped, in the Spirit and in Truth, and nothing but the church has the Spirit and the Truth. The Church is full of heavenly instincts. God gives instinct to the bird and this instinct teaches it to do things and it survives. Heavenly instincts fill the church, teaching it to do heavenly things so it is alive. Its life is heavenly life. It lives by heavenly things, and divine things are wrought out by her activities. The Church is Holy Spirit filled and Holy Spirit governed. The church is in the world, but the world is not in the church. IThe Church is filled with divine things. The fish is in the salty ocean, but the fish is not salty. If you die in the Church, you cannot go out of it; if you die out of it, you can never get in it. There is no sin in the Church. Her law is the law of holiness. All honor in the Church is given to the Trinity. Some day the Church of God is going to be caught up to Heaven and receive a faultless presentation into the immediate presence of Cod's glory and the joys of Heaven will be full and complete and be undiminished while eternity rolls on forever. -------------Charles E. Brother Charles Haney - Franklink Ohio - A loving minister of God's Holy Word, our dear brother in Christ, a captain in the Lord's Army, who believed in helping his brothers and sisters in times of trials. We will never, ever forget his tender encouragement that he gave to our lives. See you in Heaven, Brother Haney~
Sister Sandy Johnson - Newport Kentucky - A wonderfully warm and sweet sister in Christ. Sandy served our congregation as song leader and Church Secretary. The things we loved about Sandy - are many - but especially that she was genuine - and never had a bad thing to say about anyone or anything. Her life spoke volumes in Christian love & patience. We will really miss you, Sandy - your hugs especially.
Sister Anne Thornsbury - Covington Kentucky - A teach of Sunday School and fine example of Christianity - Anne was teacher to many of us for many years and we will never forget her. She came back "home" weeks before she died. She now rests with our Heavenly Father. Set a place for us at His table - been a long time since we shared a meal.
Sister Este Faulkner - A quiet Christian lady - who was a pillar of this original congregation. We miss you so much Este!
Sister Lillie Dunn - A wonderful singer who possesed a mighty voice that she used in service to the Lord as songleader for years at this little Newport congregation. God truly gifted her!
Brother Curt Kincaid - Serving God in service on Board and Head Usher - he was quiet, but funny - and a great soul to know here on earth. A true friend of this church.
Sister Dora Kincaid - Board member for years at this little church - who's joyful tear filled testmonies - uplifted the hearts of all who heard them. Dora is no doubt organizing committees in Heaven.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS...TRUE HEROES
Our congregation of God's children, ask that you pray each day and evening for our soldiers in Afghanistan, Iraq and wherever they may be. They are the backbone of this great nation, as well as, our Veterans. It is through their sacrifices, that we are free. By God's Grace, we continue to be free, and let us not consider, not defending that freedom, ever.
Honor and respect our soldiers. They are true heroes. They give so much. God bless each and every one of them, as well as those that wait at home for their return.
