Yes, people are stupid if you haven't realized this for yourself. This is why...

Most people choose to be stupid 100% of the time. I know i have my stupid moments, i have them often in fact, but i'm not going into that. Just i feel 95% of the population are stupid for a number of reasons.
1. They are easily controled in a high form of power(like the president for example)
2. They don't think before they act or say something
3. Most stupid people are ignorant(which may not be their fault, i'm just saying most are to lazy to take the incuitive(sp?) to learn about things they try to argue about.)
4. A lot of people argue for the hell of it, and most arn't good at it so they are always beaten, so They look like an idiot.
5. A lot of people think they are right all the time, even when wrong(this irks me very badly)
So as you can see... there are different reasons why people are stupid. Its not completely their fault that they are, its just they are either A. To lazy or B. To cocky to really realize that they are stupid. Thank and have a nice day.

Why are people the way they are.

Well I have noticed that many people don't understand how other people act to certing things. And i have thought about it for a little bit now and using my pyschology knowledge and commen snense i have, this is what i have come up with.  People are very complex beings, and how they are brought up in their enviornment impacts them greatly. My environment was mainly a military one, beacuse my dad was a very strict military man and a very professional person. This has affected me greatly, because it has fine tuned me to be competive, profesional, and strict in pretty much every thing I do(cept a few things, but thats a different story). Anyway, you see the reason people are the way they are is, because they don't know anything else. You see if you have a family, and they don't talk to each other much(feelings and all that) like mine for example, for say 20 years. Now then, my dad was this way, military have a strict PDA rule and my dad took to it like it was the holy bible, as for all the other rules and such. So our family was a "understanding" one and we never really discussed anything. Now that my dad is retired, he doesn't have to follow the rules, and its completely different, he doesn't know how to act now. He wants to talk, but my family is so use to not talking, we don't want to. Its hard to understand that for my dad because of other things(again another story) So it causes problems. Anyway... You see we are all conditioned to do certin things, and how we are throughout our lives affects how we are as people. This is why we have killers, politicans, doctors, business men, nascar people... EVERY JOB the reason why people do them is because thats what they grew up to be. Sure you are INTERESTED in other jobs, but natuarlly the thing you experince most is what you'll be, but if you go against your "calling" then you'll be unhappy for the rest of your life. So i say this, if you feel right in what you do, DO IT! Because if you don't you'll hate yourself. Well I guess i'm done rambling on.. if you can make sense of this.. congratulations.

Someone asked me one day, How come students can't read the bible in school but can read it in prison?

This is my reply.... See Students have the free will to read it by themselves, and really they don't need to because they arn't in a life changing situation. Prisoners that read the bible are mainly on death row and are trying to seek forgivness and maybe clear their minds of what evil they did. Sutdents don't have to deal with that so it doesn't really matter.

He then asked me... But am i correct when assuming that if you read the bible as a student, you wouldn't be there to begin with?

My Reply.. yes and no... see it is depending on the prisoner as well. They could be 100% christian but still be able to commit an act that lands them on death row. Conclusion(after convo) These are my feelings on this subject, I don't really care that we can't practice religion in school, in fact if we did it would cause way to much more controversy and that isn't really needed in todays sociaty. Don't ger me wrong though, I am a believer in God, but i'm not your ordinary Christian.

Habbits(Ties with Why people the way they are)

This is mainly about the bad ones. Habbits are a bad thing to have, but people really can't help a habbit. Its the environment the person grows up in that developes these bad habits. Like me for example, I have some bad habbits, but only because I had no choice in developing them. It was my enviornment that controled how I grew into the person I am today. Yes you do have some choices, but normally you have no choice in making those choices, and it becomes what you are. BUT habbits CAN be broken, some take longer and harder work then others, but all can be broken and "fixed" Which is why I belive conditoning really is building habbits in a person, because all conditons can go threw extiction it just depends on the person on how long that takes.

Cognitive and Operat Conditioning as one

Ok... So for you pyschology people you know what Cognitive and Operat Conditioning is. I feel they are linked together in most cases of learning. You see Cognitive Learning is where you have a desire to do something even though there is no consiquence(good or bad) Its kind of like an instinct, but you have to make the choice to do it as well. Now Operat Conditioning is where you "make" animals/humans do a desired behaviour by giving them a negitive or positive punishment(I need my notes). Anyway, I feel that since Cognitive is a desire to do something, you make the choice, and the end result is your reward... Gah.. I can't think right now.. I should write these down as I think of them.
