Morecambe FC is my home town team. They were formed on 7th May 1920 and joined the Lancashire combination league. 1974 will be a year to remember for every Morecambe fan alike after winning the FA Trophy final beating Dartford 2-1 in an epic cup final at Wembley managed by Dave Roberts. In the 1993-94 season, after 27 years of waiting, Morecambe FC hauled themselves out of the Northern Premier League into the Vauxhall Conference finishing as runners up.

The club currently plays at Christie Park and are fighting for promotion into the football league. They are managed by the Legendary Jim Harvey who has been at the helm of the club for ten years.
