MATERIAL THINGS DON'T MATTER

 

Good News Jesus Loves You will soon be released. It is a book of Christian poetry. This is my second book, and I want to give God in Heaven all the praise and glory for giving me the talent to write. I begin writing again after my mom passed away Oct. 16, 2004, I was having a difficult time dealing with my grief so I prayed to God in Heaven to please give me a job to do . That is when I begin writing and soon family and friends encouraged me to have them published.So I prayed and ask God for guidance and then a met someone who had their book published and told me how to submit my manuscript, and by the grace of God that is how Material Things Don't Matter was published. Now Good News Jesus Loves You will soon be ready, I am so glad that God has given me a job to do, because after I lost my mom doctors told my husband Anthony they thought he had MS and so many other things that tested my faith. But I know with God our family will make it through anything as long as we put our trust in Him.I have lost more loved one since my mom passed away, my Aunt Alice passed away Jan, 02, 2006. Just a few days before my first book was released. She was one of my biggest supporters. I am going to continue to write because I want to pursue my dreams and I know my mom and Aunt Alice would be so proud of me. I also want to do God's will and if He needs me to write more then I will follow the path He needs me to go.I have a third book that is being looked at right now and it will be dedicated to my family members who have passed on. The Light of the World

The Light of the world

Is Jesus Christ my Lord

The Light that will forever shine

The one who comforts me, when I have to much on my mind

He is the Light of the world ,so I will never be in darkness

I’m safe from Satan’ sword, and all of it’s sharpness

Jesus is the Light that shines, so I can see the path I am to take

He is the Light no one can break

Jesus is the Light

He lights my world, when I am filled with fright

The Light of the world is my shield

He is the Light around which my life is built

He is my Light

When I close my eyes to sleep at night

He is my Light through all my life, even when I fail

Jesus’ light shines in perfect detail

He is the Light of the world, His Light shining is not brief

His Light is there, whether I’m happy or experiencing grief

Jesus is the Light of the world from the bible that is what I’ve been taught

And by the Light of the world my freedom from sin has been bought

 

 

   I want to share the love of Jesus with everyone and I will post more poems later. I will keep you updated on the book it will officially be released August 21, 2006. It will be available through www.publishamerica.com click on the online bookstore on the site.

 

Good News Jesus Loves You

Good news Jesus loves you
He loves you no matter what you do

Jesus loves us even if we are sinners
If we invite Jesus in, He will come in and have dinner

With Jesus your soul shall be filled
For your salvation you will never be billed
Good news Jesus died for our sins on the cross
He arose and went to Heaven, to save the loss

Good news Jesus loves you and me
He loved us so much, He died to set us free

Good news Jesus loves you, no matter what the time of day
If you accept Jesus, by your side He will always stay

Good news Jesus loves you, in good times and bad
Jesus is the best friend I’ve ever had

Good news Jesus loves you, be saved and on Him believe
Jesus is always with you, He will never leave

 

 

 

Jesus Died for You

Jesus died for you and me
So we could be saved, and live throughout eternity

Jesus loved us, that is why He died
Forever to Jesus my life is tied

Jesus died for you and me, so we could board Heaven’s train
Since I have Jesus, I have no need to complain

Jesus made it possible when we leave this Earth, that a home in Heaven we shall receive
Let me ask you a question, what will you have when you leave?

With Jesus do you have a relationship?
Have you kept it well equipped?

In your life is Jesus dwelling?
With love for all is your heart sailing?

With Jesus by my side, I always see the flowers in bloom
With Jesus’ love, they always smell like sweet perfume

I know Jesus died for our sins, that is why He came
To save us all from Hell’s flames

The bible I hope you read
And if you’re not saved, accept Jesus I plead

He died to save us all
Answer His voice next time He calls

 

Are You Lost?

Is Satan destroying your life?
Into Hell’s pits are you about to dive?

Has Satan convinced you that Jesus you don’t need?
Have you heard the story of Jesus on the cross and how He did bleed?

Is Satan destroying your life, is it completely out of control?
Do you need help? Give Jesus your soul

Has Satan tangled you in his web, and you’ve become someone you don’t like
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and tell Satan to take a hike

Has Satan filled your life full of trouble?
Accept Jesus in your heart and bust Satan’s bubble

If Satan has complete control over your life, I pray that your heart will be filled with guilt
And that your life around Jesus will soon be built

The hold Satan has on you Jesus can break
First you must accept Jesus into your heart, that is the first step you must take

I pray that Jesus you will choose
So that the tangled web of Satan you can loose

Just answer when Jesus knocks at your hearts door
Say I believe and confess your sins and repent,your life will never be the same anymore

 

 

The Precious Name of Jesus

The precious name of Jesus, oh how I love Him so
In Jesus’ love I want to grow

The precious name of Jesus, I want to praise
By the precious name of Jesus, anyone can be saved

The precious name of Jesus, with all I want to share
The precious name of Jesus, in Heaven will you be singing there?

The precious name of Jesus, of His excellence I want to write
The precious name of Jesus, has taken me to new heights

The precious name of Jesus, how it makes my life complete
The precious name of Jesus, to hear of His love is such a treat

Oh the precious name of Jesus, is such a wonderful thing
The precious name of Jesus, makes my heart sing

By the precious name of Jesus, in Heaven one day we will gather
When we reach Heaven’s shore, nothing else will matter

By the precious name of Jesus, I have been saved by His name

Do You Believe in Jesus?

Do you believe in Jesus?

If you don’t is your heart freezing?

Has your heart turned so cold to be so blind?

If you don’t believe in Jesus, I pray you will in time

Do you believe that Jesus lives?

I know He does by the way all of our sins He forgives

Do you believe Jesus can save you from your sins?

If you believe this then you shall win

Do you believe Jesus died and arose?

He loved us by dying for our sins it shows

Do you believe Jesus went to the cross?

To save everyone who is lost

Do you believe Jesus lives today?

Well I know he does, no matter what people say

Do you believe Jesus is calling you to repent?

Do you believe that this is the only reason that God’s only Son was sent?

Do you believe Jesus loves you?

I know He does and if you believe, He can save you no matter what you do

I hope you believe in Jesus and have been saved

The Color of Sin is Black

The color of sin is black, because it is so dark

It can be white as snow, if it is hit by Jesus’ spark

Sin is like a endless black hole

It goes on forever, and continues to grow

Sin is dark, it hides like the night

Sin can be put out by Jesus Christ the Light

Jesus can save you, from this thing called sin

You just have to believe in Him

Through believing in Jesus, our sins are forgiven

Jesus makes life worth living

Sin is the reason Jesus came to die

Sin is hard on us, and will make us lie

The truth about sin, is Jesus can wipe it all away

All you have to do is call on Jesus today

The color of sin is black, it is a very dreary forecast

But if you accept Jesus, over sin you will win at last
