MATERIAL THINGS DON'T MATTER

Mark 10:27
And Jesus looking upon them saith, with men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

One year about two weeks before Thanksgiving, my husband Anthony and I were trying to figure out how to pay our house payment that was two months behind. We had received notice that we were in default of our loan. We had fallen on hard times, and had been behind on three payments, but were able to pay one one when we got paid. Now we had to figure out how to pay almost five hundred dollars in two weeks. We didn't get paid for another two weeks, we were praying really hard. We had a yard sale, yeah in the middle of November. We put one of our cars up for sale. We had a few interested people, but no buyers. Soon we only had one week left to get the payments made. We begin to snap at one another, we had cried, and prayed more. We were so afraid that we would soon lose our home. We prayed more, we told God He knew our need, and put everything in His hands. We were trusting in Him to provide a miracle for our crisis. Soon we were down to having two days to come up with the money. By this time our faith was starting to shrink, then we remembered how Jesus said with man things are impossible, but with God all things are possible. That very day a young man and his dad looked at the car and bought it. God knew our need, and provided for us before the payment was due. Sometimes we are impatient, but God knows what we need and when. Always remember when you are just about to give up, always know God is up to something, through Him all things are possible. Yes God gives miracles at Thanksgiving. He grants them everyday. We have so much to be thankful for, especially to God in heaven for sending His only Son. To die for our sins, God made it possible for all sinners to receive salvation. Now that is a reason to celebrate and to be thankful for.


Great Blessings

Dear Lord, You have done so much for me
I haven't done much for You as I can see

You have blessed me so greatly, and asked so little in return
No matter what I have needed, large or small, You have always made it your concern

When it seemed that things were going so wrong
Lord, you stood beside me and made me strong

When I needed food, shelter, or love
It was always provided from my Heavenly Father above

Let me be an obedient servant, and follow the example set by your only Son

Let me follow the path You need me to find

Matthew 10:32
Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.

I love this verse, because it gives us the message to go out and tell the world about Jesus. So that many can hear of His story, that Jesus came to die for All sinners. He died so we could go free. If we confess Jesus before men, Jesus will confess us before God in heaven His Father. Let us never be ashame to tell others of Jesus.

Tell the World of Jesus' Love

I want to tell the world of Jesus' love
That He died for our sins, to give us a home above

Jesus died so you and I could go free
He saved my soul when I was on bended knees

Let us tell everyone of the love of God's only Son
Let us pray that God's will be done

Without Jesus we would forever be lost
For our sins Jesus paid a very high cost

So to others I want to spread the news of how Jesus died
That to His line of royalty my soul is forever tied

Jesus died for our sins, so to others I will spread the wonderful news
That God's only Son, died for me and you

Jesus arose on the third day
Home to heaven He has gone to stay

One day He will soon return
For His love does your soul yearn?
 

Matthew 26:39
And He went a little further, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

I am proud to be an American! Our freedom came at a price. I am so thankful for those who gave their lives to preserve our freedom. Many have died protecting our freedom, and I want to thank all the men and women serving our country today. Thank you for the sacrafices that you and your families make everyday to make our freedom possible. May God bless you greatly.
I feel I have been given the greatest freedom of all. I have been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. I have been set free from satan's grips, through Jesus my soul has been set free. One day I will get to walk on heaven's shores.

Freedom Comes at a Price

Dear Father in heaven, thank you for the freedom we have received
For the gift of your Son Jesus, we are saved because we believe

Thank you for the freedom that we have found
Because through Jesus, by satan we are no longer bound

Thank you for the freedom, of releasing my restraints of sin
Thank you for the freedom, that comes from Jesus that cleanses within

None of this freedom would have never been known
If your love for mankind had not been shown

Freedom came at a very high price
For our sins Your only Son was sacraficed
 

Luke 15:4
What man of you having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them doth not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he is found?

Have you ever wondered what you would do, if you knew this was your last day on earth? If we knew that this is truly our last day, what would we do and say? If you are saved you wouldn't have to worry about your final destination. Could you imagine being lost, not knowing Jesus and know that you would die today? I would definitely want to accept Jesus into my heart. This type of event is happening everyday, except with one thing left out,the person dying lost had no idea they wouldn't live to see tomorrow.Unless we tell others about the good news of God's only Son, many people will be lost forever. Let us share Jesus with everyone we encounter. God will rejoice over those who accept Him.

God Seeks the Lost

God is seeking His lost sheep
He wants them in His fold, their souls to keep

God wants the lost to be saved
To experience the love that Jesus gave

So many are dying and they are lost
In hell their souls will pay the cost

Let us get busy and tell everyone about God's only Son
That someone will be saved, let God's will be done

So many people are dying lost every single day
Let us not be guilty of not telling them about Jesus along the way

Let us spread the news of Jesus' love, and hope the lost come to the realization
If they don't accept Jesus, hell will be their final destination

Luke 18:13
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying God be merciful to me a sinner.

If I really think about it, I am not worthy to come before God in prayer. But it has been made possible through the blood of Jesus that we are forgiven. That we can come to God in prayer, and our sins are washed white as snow. Only because God gave His only Son to die, so that our sins can be forgiven. Just like in the hymn, He doesn't see me as I am, He sees the blood of the Lamb. What a wonderful and loving God.

We Are Forgiven

Our sins are washed white as snow
Through Jesus' blood we have been made whole

We can go to God in prayer
All our problems with Him we share

He forgives our every sin
Through His Son we are cleansed within

I am so unworthy to stand in God's site
He sent Jesus so that all our wrongs, could be made right

I was nothing but a lonely sinner
I accepted Jesus through Him I am a winner

Only by His blood am I justified
He saved my soul when on His name I cried
 

Luke 9:48
And said unto them, whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth Him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

I have observed many times that a lot of people live to serve others. They lend a helping hand to anyone in need. They are there when others need help, regardless the time of day. They won't no honor or praise for what they do. Because it comes completely from the heart. They do everything out of love, they are not looking to see what is in it for them. They expect nothing in return. We can take a lesson from these fine folks. This is how God wants us to do. To help others in need, and not say a word to anyone about it later. To help others along the way, just because it is what God would have us to do. Let us start being better servants for God, and show love toward everyone. Let us help others along the way, to have a servant heart to better serve God everyday of our lives.

Acts 6:3
Wherefore, brethen, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

Many times being wise doesn't mean having higher education. Being wise can also mean that we want to follow God's plans for our lives. That we read His holy word, and pray for wisdom to understand the scripture, and to apply God's word to our everyday life. We pray for guidance for God to give us understanding, for what He would have us to do in our life. Things that will bring praise and glory to His holy name. To let our light shine, so others may see it too.

Living In Ways That Delight God

Dear LORD show us the way we are to go
Make me wise to things I need to know

Dear LORD show us what would be Thy will
Let me tell others of your love, so they can know it is real

Dear LORD give us the wisdom to follow in your way
Let us live our life to bring praise and glory to you everyday

Let us set a loving example to others
To treat everyone like our sisters and brothers

Dear LORD let us live a life that will bring glory to Your name
We want to let our light shine bright so others will do the same
 

Deuteronomy 26:11
Rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee.

Let us give praise and glory to God in heaven. Let us thank Him for all the many blessings that He has bestowed upon us. God has blessed us greatly to be able to get up this morning to see another day.

18.He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

A Lost Soul (Heart Broken)
The family goes by the casket, their hearts are truly broken
There are no words of comfort, to this family that can be spoken

Their loved one was lost, they never accepted Jesus into their heart
The family realizes,that from them they will forever be a part

Many times they tried to witness to them
Told them about Jesus, so they would accept Him

They invited them to church, but the invitation they ignored
I guess they didn't realize, denying Jesus they couldn't afford

The family's eyes are blinded by tears
Their loved one is in hell that is their fears

This has left the family with so much grief and pain
Wondering, will they ever see their loved one again?

Hopeless is what the family feels
For they know that hell is truly real

Can you imagine this family's devestation?
Knowing their loved one never received salvation

If someone is lost let me say
You can receive salvation today

If you have not accepted Jesus, I pray that you will
Just think if you die lost, the pain that you will feel

It is a choice that only you can make
Heaven or Hell, which way will you take?

My prayer for all, is that you let Jesus save your soul
So we can see each other again, on the streets of gold

If Jesus is calling, please don't wait
Accept Jesus today, before it is to late

Psalm 63:3-4
3. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4. Thus will I bless thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in thy name.

I heard on ABC Good Morning America, that a church in Ohio faces it's pastor and members being arrested for praying to loud.That there is a noise ordinance and that people are complaining that they are violeting this ordinance. Excuse me I think this is so wrong. What happen to our right to freedom of religion? Satan is really working over time these days. He knows that his time is limited. As Christians we must stand up against this type of treatment. They are taking away all of our rights little by little. So let us take a stand and let them know this is not going to stop our praise and worship. Let us get a little louder and let others wonder what all the noise is about. They may want to join in someday. I have to admire this pastor, he said let them bring buses, because his staff and church family stand behind him all the way. Praise the Lord, I stand behind them too. I pray that bus loads will go from all over the United States and protest this injustice. Let us praise God all the days of our life, and never back down from His cause. I will praise Him in my car, in my home, at church, at school, any where that I feel the urge to give my heavenly Father praise and glory.

Lamentions3:25
The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.

God loves us, and wants us to seek Him everyday. He wants us to let Him know what is going on in our life. God wants us to spill out our hearts to Him. In good times and bad, God wants us to share our joys and our sorrows. God wants us to seek Him, in everything we do. He is our pilot, if we seek His guidance for our journey through life, we have hope through Him. Hope that we can make it through another day, and help others along the way. With God we have hope to make it through our daily trials and tribulations, now that is a comforting thought.

God is my Hope

The Lord is our greatest hope
With daily things, He helps us cope

He is our hope when everything seems lost
He is our hope, when by storms we am tossed

He is the hope that carries us through
He is our hope, in everything we do

When our world comes crashing down
Jesus our Savior, can always be found

When the rest of the world, has left our side
Our tears and hurt, from Jesus we can't hide

He is our best friend, how He loves us so
He will be there regardless, that I truly know

Jesus is our hope in life
My best Friend is Jesus Christ

 

Galations 6:9
Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Let us be kind to others, and not speak out in anger. Let us spread love to one another. Let us keep one another in our prayers. When someone is suffering, or in pain, let us be a true friend. Let us send them a special card, or pick up the phone and give them a call. To let them know that we are thinking of them. Let us lend a helping hand to a friend. It may be taking someone to the store, give them a lift to the doctors office. Whatever a person may need let us try our best to be there for them.

Do Good Unto All

Do good unto everyone that you meet
Together the hum drum of life we can beat

When you pass someone on the street give a smile
Someone may need some sort of cheer for a while

Let us help someone who may be in need
Let us listen to others problems indeed

Someone may need us to lend a ear
They need to talk, and need a friend near

Let us tell others of Jesus, they may be in despair
Let us tell them, Jesus is waiting and is always there

Let us do good to others, all along the way
We can make a difference in the things that we say

One day soon, we may need them to pray for us
We may need a friend like them,in who we can trust
 

Revelation 3:20
Behold,I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus is calling unto us. He wants us to come to Him. He wants us to be saved. Jesus is extending an invitation unto you, if you are lost. He wants you to accept Him. To believe that He died for your sins. He wants to see you enter heaven's gates one day.If someone out there is lost my prayer would be, that you experience the love that Jesus has to give before it is to late. Tomorrow may never come, any of us could die today. So please if you don't know Jesus as your personal Savior, please accept Him today. That is my prayer and greatest wish for anyone who is lost. For them to experience the greatest love of all.


The Invitation

Dear Lord I heard you calling
I kept standing in the pew stalling

I heard you say come to me, you were pleading
Your invitation I heard, and was what I was needing

But still I kept standing, I couldn't get my feet to go down the aisle
I kept on standing and waiting, the invitation ended after awhile

Dear Lord the next service, I heard you call a little louder
Your voice was all I could hear, nothing else mattered

Lord still I couldn't get my feet to move at all
Even though I could still hear your voice call

The invitation ended, I went home
I had never felt so empty and alone

The next service I heard you calling, and saw the tears you wept for me
You gave me the message, this calling was my last chance to be set free

I stood in the pew, I was nervous, my heart was beating fast
I couldn't pass up your invitation, knowing it could be my last

I went to the alter, and you opened your arms
I knew I was safe from satan's harms

I fell to my knees, and begin to cry
I finally realized,why Jesus had to die

To save a sinner like me, but He arose and went to His throne
To knock at my door, so one day I can receive my heavenly home

So if you hear Jesus pleading, and don't answer the call
Remember on Judgment day, He will say I never knew you at all

 

Psalm 138:7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble,You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.

No matter what we are going through, God wants us to let Him be our guide. No matter what trouble and trials that we experience, we need to let God take care of all of our problems. Everyday we need to give God the same answer, Lord you are in control. There is no problem that He can't handle. Give God the go ahead and let Him be in control of what happens today. All our problems He can definetly handle by Himself.

Lord Be My Guide

Dear Lord I don't have to worry, about what this day may hold
Whatever happens today, I leave you in complete control

Dear Lord if things happen that I don't understand
You will comfort me and hold my hand

No matter what this day may have in store
I will let you handle it, and not interfer like before

I use to think, I could fix it myself
Thinking I had no other options left

Now I don't have to worry, there is no problem to big, that you can't handle
The love that you bestow upon us, to it no one can hold a candle

Forgive me when I try to take the lead, and fix things on my own
For now I know the end result, everything ends up so wrong

Amos 5:15
Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate.

Let us serve God in everything we do. Let us give praise for all the many blessings that have been given by God above in our lives. Let us pray for guidance, to do God's will. Let us hate the evil of the world, but to love one another, as Jesus has loved us. Let us show kindness to others all through our life. Let us tell others about Jesus, in case they are lost. Let us seek Jesus everyday, and pray to be kept safe from satan's temptations along the way. Let us ask for forgiveness, when we fail Jesus daily.

Lord Have Mercy on Me

Lord help me to love others, as I should

Psalm 150:6
Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD, Praise ye the LORD.

Let us give praise to God everyday. He bestows so many blessings in our lives. He carrys us through the roughest storms of life. No matter what our situation, God is always by our side. No matter what we do, no matter how many times that we fail Him. God is always true, He always takes care of me and you.
When the rest of the world thinks that we are of no use, God cleans us up and makes us shine like new.

He Has Risen
Jesus was crucified for our sins
But that is where the story begins

There was no grave that could hold Him down
Our Savior arose, He is no longer in the ground

He arose on the third day
Mary appeared the stone was rolled away

Many grieved they thought Jesus was dead
But He arose, just like the bible said

Jesus arose and many witnessed seeing Him alive
Many couldn't believe, they wonder how He survived

He has risen, He lives today
He lives no matter what others say

One day Jesus will return to take us all home
Have you accepted Him,or will all your hope be gone?

Jesus has risen to save us, from satan and his burning fire
For you to be saved is Jesus' hearts desire

He went to the cross, but has now risen
To save you and I from satan's prison

Romans 5:1-2
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Let us rejoice in the love that Jesus has for us. He died on the cross so that you and I could be saved. He suffered greatly, because His love for us was so true, and still is today. Let us follow the example Jesus set for us. Let us love one another, and tell others of Jesus' love.

We can find peace in the true love that Jesus has for us. Let us strive to live our lives so that it reflects that we have Jesus dwelling in our heart.

True Love

Let me tell you about the truest love that I have ever known
By God in heaven, the truest love was shown

He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins
He bestowed a love on us that has no end

Jesus was beaten, tortured, and whipped
The abuse continued, and of His clothes He was stripped

But still the worse was yet to come
Jesus said, "Father Let Thy Will Be Done"

Jesus was nailed on the cross for our sins to bare
What love He had for us to remain there

Jesus had thorns placed upon His head as a crown
He could have called a legion of angels and came down

True love was what Jesus had to give
He had to die, so you and I could live

Jesus was placed between two thieves on the cross at Calvary
One knew that Jesus was the Christ, Jesus told him, today you will be in paradise with me

In His final hours, Jesus prayed, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do
Now this is the truest love, that has ever been shown to me and you

Praise God that on the third day
That the stone was rolled away

Jesus is Risen, He is Alive
Everyday for Him I will strive

If you don't know Jesus I pray soon you will
All your wounds and hurts, Jesus can heal
 

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This is such a great passage of scripture. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. God loved us so much and knew there was no other way that we could be saved.What great love that God bestowed upon us. To give His only Son to save all that will believe that Jesus Christ came to die for our sins. That Jesus is the Son of God, and that He arose on the third day.
Our faith in Christ is bread for daily use, not dessert for special occasions.

Nail Scarred Hands

Jesus has nail scarred hands
He died to save everyone, in every land

Jesus has nail scarred hands, He loved us and we could only be saved by His blood
When I think of how much He sacrificed, tears down my face flood

Jesus is royalty, He is king
For us sinners, He sacrificed everything

His nail scarred hands, gave us justification
By believing in Jesus, we receive salvation

His nail scarred hands shall prevail
He saved me a sinner, from going to hell

His nail scarred hands, was where a great work of love begin
By His nail scarred hands, that is where our life of sin ends

By His nail scarred hands, I can hear Jesus say
This is how much I love you, I died for you this way

By His nail scarred hands, I am saved forever
I want to hold His nail scarred hands, and let go of them never

His nail scarred hands, filled my thirst
I love Jesus but He loved me first
 

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

In our lives many times we try and do so much and fail. Do what you can and let Jesus take care of the rest.

The Light of the World

The Light of the world

Is Jesus Christ my Lord

The Light that will forever shine

The one who comforts me, when I have to much on my mind

He is the Light of the world ,so I will never be in darkness

I’m safe from Satan’ sword, and all of it’s sharpness

Jesus is the Light that shines, so I can see the path I am to take

He is the Light no one can break

Jesus is the Light

He lights my world, when I am filled with fright

The Light of the world is my shield

He is the Light around which my life is built

He is my Light

When I close my eyes to sleep at night

He is my Light through all my life, even when I fail

Jesus’ light shines in perfect detail

He is the Light of the world, His Light shining is not brief

His Light is there, whether I’m happy or experiencing grief

Jesus is the Light of the world from the bible that is what I’ve been taught

And by the Light of the world my freedom from sin has been bought

1 John 2:5
Who so keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected.

By placing God's word in our hearts, we can be true to God, and tell others of His wonderful love.

Everyday with God is like a new beginning, He bestows so much love upon us everyday. He gives us new presents of blessings, and gives us peace within. Now that is true love.

Matthew 10:38
He that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Let us follow God in our daily walk in our lives. Let us be worthy of God's love and take up our cross and tell others about Jesus. That He died for our sins.

We can never be the person God wants us to be, until we do what God wants us to do.

1 Corinthians 10:13
God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted beyond what ye are able; but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear.

Temptations seldom come through the front door, they find a way of slipping through little cracks and open spaces that we don't pay much attention to. Many times we are tempted by satan. He tries his best to make us stumble and fall.God will always provide a way to escape satan's trap. If we will read our our bible and pray satan will not win. We must keep our eyes on Jesus, He is our greatest weapon against satan's temptations.

Ezekiel 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take out the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

God can change our lives completely when we get saved. If we will let Him change us from the inside out. Let us reflect on our lives and see what areas need improvement and give God the control to make us what He needs us to be. So that we can be better servants for Him.

As I reflect on my life, I don't like what is revealed
I need to live my life better for Jesus, and have my soul filled

I began to pray as I reflect on the things that I have done
I repent of my sins, before Jesus God's only Son

Even though I have been saved, I have failed God indeed
I cry out to Him Father, forgive me for my sins I plead

My reflection begins to look a lot more clear, it isn't so dark
I am so happy that one day my soul was hit by Jesus' spark

Dear Lord fill me with the Holy Spirit and let me do Thy will
And a better person my reflection can reveal

 

Psalms 73: 24
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

When we have doubts, let us go to God in prayer. He can guide us through the most trying times of our lives. God is true, He will always be there for me and you.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.


Let us place our trust in Jesus. Not to worry about what tomorrow may bring. Jesus will take care of us all along the way. We don't need to hinder today worrying about tomorrow. Jesus will meet our every need. Let us take one day at a time, and find our comfort from life's problems wrapped in Jesus' arms.

Mark 4:1-20
1And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

2And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

3Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

5And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

6But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

7And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

8And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

9And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

11And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14The sower soweth the word.

15And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred

This parable tells of many that will hear the word of God and will not believe it. Others the seed is not sown in deep enough to take root, that they will fall back to their old ways. Many will hear and choose to believe and live their life for Jesus. Let us all spread the word of Jesus and His love for all, and pray to God that many will have the love of Jesus planted within their heart.That the lost will be listening to the word and be willing to let Jesus fill their soul with His love. Let us pray that satan doesn't make them stumble and turn away from God. That satan cannot convince them that they don't need Jesus.

 

As christians we must take a stand
God never intended marriage for a man and a man

We have to take a stand, a marriage of two women is wrong
Soon the moral teachings of the bible will be gone

Right now if we don't stand strong
How will we teach our children this is wrong

God intended marriage between a woman and a man
Read Leviticus 18:22, it is easy to understand

In God's eyes same sex marriage is an abomination
These types of marriages don't have God as their foundation

We have to take a stand, and tell others it is not right
It says in the bible, it is an abomination in God's sight

A marriage consists of one woman and one man
On this issue we must take a stand

It is wrong now and will never be right
I will hold to this belief with all my might

They are confusing our children and teaching what is wrong
As God's children on this matter we must stand strong

We need to contact our representatives about the domestic partners bill
A marriage is between a man and a woman, the people voted on it in 2004 and stated their will

Matthew 6:6-8
6.But thou when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, an when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions,a heathen do: for they think that they shall be her for their much speaking.
8. Be not ye therefore ike unto them: for your Father knowth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Do you have a situtation or problem that seems that their is no way to deal with. If you need answers go to God in pray. God knows our every need. He knows everything that we go through. There is no problem that can't be solved with God's help. With man things are impossible, with God all things are possible. So go to God in prayer and tell Him the desires of your heart. Let God know what mountain that you need Him to move. God knows our needs before we do. God will provide our every need. He will carry us through the roughest storms in our lives, if we just ask for His help. Having trouble making the rent? God can help. You have more bills than money? God will provide, if you seek His help through prayer. God can bestow many miracles and blessings upon on you, if we will just let Him take charge.

John 11:25-26
25. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
26.And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.Believest thou this?


Isn't it amazing through Jesus dying on the cross, and arose on the third day, that we can be saved. By our faith of believing that Jesus died for our sins. Many people think that it can not be this easy. God has made it so easy by confessing our sins, and that we believe Jesus is God's only Son. It wasn't easy on Jesus He made the ultimate sacrafice and was beaten and tortured, for our sins. Jesus loved us so much He took our place. Praise God for loving us so much, that He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins

Mark 13:24
24.In those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened,and the moon shall not give her light.
25. The stars will be falling from heaven and he powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26.And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.


Jesus will soon return. Are you ready? Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Will you be excited to hear the Master's voice? I pray that you have accepted God's only Son Jesus into your heart, and that you will get to celebrate in heaven.

I pray that those who are lost will accept Jesus as their Savior and be saved
And praise the Lord for such a precious gift that He gave

 

28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

28:7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

28:8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

28:10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

28:11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

28:12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

28:13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

28:14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

28:15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus won the victory so all who believe on Him could go free. Thank you Jesus for loving us so much.

Then one of the thieves which were being crucified, said Lord remember me when Thou comest into they Kingdom, for he knew Jesus was the Christ
Jesus said verily I say unto thee, today shalt they be with me in Paradise

Jesus cried Father into Thy hands I command my spirit, and having said this He gave up the ghost

He was the Lamb, sacrificed for our sins, He won the victory

John 15:12-13

Matthew 27: 1-31

When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people conferred together against Jesus in order to bring about his death. They bound him, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate the governor.

When Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. He said, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? See to it yourself." Throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself. But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, "It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since they are blood money." After conferring together, they used them to buy the potter's field as a place to bury foreigners. For this reason that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. Then was fulfilled what had been spoken through the prophet Jeremiah, "And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of the one on whom a price had been set, on whom some of the people of Israel had set a price, and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."

Now Jesus stood before the governor; and the governor asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said, "You say so." But when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he did not answer. Then Pilate said to him, "Do you not hear how many accusations they make against you?" But he gave him no answer, not even to a single charge, so that the governor was greatly amazed.

Now at the festival the governor was accustomed to release a prisoner for the crowd, anyone whom they wanted. At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Jesus Barabbas. So after they had gathered, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release for you, Jesus Barabbas or Jesus who is called the Messiah?" For he realized that it was out of jealousy that they had handed him over. While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, "Have nothing to do with that innocent man, for today I have suffered a great deal because of a dream about him."

Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus killed. The governor again said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release for you?" And they said, "Barabbas." Pilate said to them, "Then what should I do with Jesus who is called the Messiah?" All of them said, "Let him be crucified!" Then he asked, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the more, "Let him be crucified!"

So when Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took some water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves."

Then the people as a whole answered, "His blood be on us and on our children!" So he released Barabbas for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the governor's headquarters, and they gathered the whole cohort around him. They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they put it on his head. They put a reed in his right hand and knelt before him and mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" They spat on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head. After mocking him, they stripped him of the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.

Jesus knew that the time was coming that He would be put to death. Can you imagine the anguish and heart break that He felt. He was beaten to where He couldn't be recognized. By His stripes we are healed. By Jesus dying on the cross,we can be saved. Through the blood He shed on Calvary, He gave eternal life to anyone who will believe upon Him and confess their sins. Praise God for His only Son and that He loved us so much.But that is just the beginning of the story because Jesus arose on the third day and He lives today. AMEN!

 

Matthew26:47-57
While he was still speaking, Judas [Iscariot], one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him." 49Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him. 50Jesus replied, "Friend, do what you came for." Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.

51With that, one of Jesus' companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. [But Jesus touched the man's ear and healed him, and said to the one who wanted to protect him, (Luke 22:50)] 52"Put your sword back in its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"

(Matt. 26) 55At that time Jesus said to the crowd, "Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. 56But this has taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples deserted him and fled. 57Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas, the high priest, where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled.




"Put your sword back in its place.…Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?" (Matt. 26:52-54)


Jesus knew that all this must take place. At anytime Jesus could have called on His Father in Heaven and twelve legions of angels would have came. But Jesus knew that the Scriptures must be fulfilled, that He must die on the cross so that our sins could be forgiven. What great love! What great sacrifice! Thank you Jesus for saving our souls. Thank you for the greatest love of all. Amen.

 

Matthew 26:46-56
behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

47And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. 48Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. 49And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. 50And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. 51And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear. 52Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 54But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? 55In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me. 56But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

Jesus knew that He would be betrayed, He knew that this must happen to fulfill the scriptures. Jesus already knew who would betray Him. How much Jesus loved us to know what was ahead and continued the path that His Father would have Him go. Just like then, Jesus knows what we all go through, He knows our thoughts, our trials, and troubles. He can help us through anything. But the number one thing that Jesus did for all was make it possible for us to receive eternal life. If we believe that Jesus is God's only Son, and confess our sins, and repent, then we can be saved.


 

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane
36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” 37 And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch [1] with me.” 39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” 40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42 Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” 43 And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 44 So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words again. 45 Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Sleep and take your rest later on. [2] See, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise, let us be going; see, my betrayer is at hand.”

Jesus knew He was going to be betrayed, He also knew that He would be tortured. He kept praying to His Father in heaven for the cup to be removed, but that if that was not His Father's will let God's will be done. He prayed and shed tears, because He would be taking on the sins of the world. He continued the journey that He was sent to do, even though He knew that He would soon be spit upon, beaten, treat like a savage, and crucified, all for our sins. Thank you Jesus for taking our place. For loving us so much to leave heaven and be tortured and put to death, so that we could be saved. Praise God for such love and mercy for all sinners.

Matthew26: 17-35
17 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?"

18 And He said, "Go into the city to (V)a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is near; I am to keep the Passover at your house with My disciples."'"

19 The disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.

The Last Passover
20 Now when evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the twelve disciples.
21 As they were eating, He said, "Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me."

22 Being deeply grieved, they each one began to say to Him, "Surely not I, Lord?"

23 And He answered, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the bowl is the one who will betray Me.

24"The Son of Man is to go, just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."

25 And Judas, who was betraying Him, said, "Surely it is not I, Rabbi?" Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself."

The Lord's Supper Instituted
26 While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
27 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you;

28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for (AI)many for forgiveness of sins.

29 "But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."

30 After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

31 Then Jesus said to them, "You will all (AL)fall away because of Me this night, for it is written, 'I WILL STRIKE DOWN THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP OF THE FLOCK SHALL BE SCATTERED.'

32 "But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee."

33 But Peter said to Him, "Even though all may fall away because of You, I will never fall away."

34 Jesus said to him, "Truly I say to you that this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."

35 Peter said to Him, "Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You." All the disciples said the same thing too.

Jesus knew that He would soon be put to death, He wanted to prepare His disciples of what was going to happen. Jesus let them know that one of them would betray HIm. Jesus knew that He would soon be arrested and put on the cross for our sins. What a heavy burden to carry, to know that He was going to suffer so greatly. Jesus loved us very much to know what was in store and continued the journey that He knew was to come. For all sinners Jesus was willing to lay down His life. But praise God that would be just the beginning of the story. Because Jesus arose!

 

Proverbs 15:1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Sometimes when something upsets us, or makes us angry, we need to step back to make sure that we calm down. We need to take a few minutes to ourselves before saying anything about the situtation.We need to think about what we are going to say. It is better to walk away and calm down and talk about it later. So that we don't hurt someone and say something we can't take back. Words can break hearts, so pray before speaking when angry.Don't lash out and do damage that can never be repaired.
 

Proverbs 15:1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Sometimes when something upsets us, or makes us angry, we need to step back to make sure that we calm down. We need to take a few minutes to ourselves before saying anything about the situtation.We need to think about what we are going to say. It is better to walk away and calm down and talk about it later. So that we don't hurt someone and say something we can't take back. Words can break hearts, so pray before speaking when angry.Don't lash out and do damage that can never be repaired.
 

Matthew 25:14-30



The Parable of the Talents
14"Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. 15To one he gave five talents[a] of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. 17So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. 18But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
19"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.'

21"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

22"The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.'

23"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

24"Then the man who had received the one talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.'

26"His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

28" 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'


We need to make good use of the talents that God has given us. We need to use them in a way to glorify His name. God has a job for all of us to do. He has given each one of us a unique talent that can be used for the job that He intends for us to do. We need to use our talents, and not bury them to be hidden away somewhere.

Luke 9:22
Our daily steps saying "The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests, and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.


Jesus knew that He would soon meet with death, because He loved us He took our place. Let us follow the steps of Jesus. How He showed love and forgiveness and gave His life on the cross for our sins. Let us live our lives telling others of Jesus and His wonderous love.

Rev.1:18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Thank you God that Jesus arose and lives forever. Because through Him we can live forever, and be forgiven of our sins. Only because of the blood that Jesus shed on Calvary. I thank Jesus for loving everyone so much, that He took our place and died for our sins. Now we can have eternal life, if we accept Jesus Christ. Here is a poem titled eternity.

Mar 13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any [man] deceive you:


Mar 13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and shall deceive many.


Mar 13:7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for [such things] must needs be; but the end [shall] not [be] yet.


Mar 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.


Mar 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.


Mar 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.


Mar 13:11 But when they shall lead [you], and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.


Mar 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against [their] parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.


Mar 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved

With all the things that are taking place today, we need to be telling others of Jesus more than ever before.Wars the rumors of wars, earthquakes, floods, and the crazy weather conditions across the world. This is a sign of the times that the bible foretells. Here is a poem titled
Do You See What I See

Do you see all the things happening that the bible forecast?
Many say it is global warming and etc., the truth of the bible many cannot grasp

Wars, and rumors of wars,
The bible tells what is in store

Signs of the times is what we are experiencing today
It is foretold in the bible they would happen one day

Earthquakes,hurricaines,tsumanies, storms of all kinds
We all better wake up, these are signs of the times

Look at all the violence that is within our own nation
It seems like many don't care, they are on permanent vacation

You can't tell one season from another
Are we busying spreading God's word, to our sisters and brothers?

Ready or not Jesus is coming back soon
Jesus could be back before the light of the moon

Let us get busy telling others that Jesus will soon return
Let us try to reach the lost, so in hell they don't burn

Give No Thought of Tomorrow

Matthew 6:31-34
31. Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32. (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek;) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33. But seek ye first the kigdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the thingss of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Give no thought of what tomorrow may bring. We have no promise of tomorrow. Just focus on today, and take life one day at a time. Seek God everyday and He will meet our every need. Focus on the love that Jesus has given to us all, and be thankful to see another day. God knows all the things that go on in our lives, He provides for the sparrows and knows when they die. So we can be assured that our Father in heaven will provide for us. We need to seek God and have a close walk with Him each and everyday. He will take care of the rest of our day. Because there is no problem to big that God cannot handle.

 

 

Ephesians 3:21
Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus through out all ages,world without end.


Let us all give praise and glory to God above. Throughout our lives, for sending Jesus to die for our sins.Let us sing songs of praise, and give thanks to God above.

By God up above

Mark 3:35
For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother,and my sister, and mother.

As Christians are we following the path that God would have us to go? Are we doing God's will? Each one of us as individuals are the only one who can answer these questions ourselves. I know many times that I have let God down. I go to Him in prayer for guidance and forgiveness.

I want to do God's will

Even though His will sometimes I don't understand

Col 3:1-2
1. If ye be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2. Set your affections on things above, not on the things on the earth.


As we go about our daily lives we need to seek God, and not concentrate on material things of this world. We need to go to God in prayer, read the bible daily, then we can focus on Heaven. To tells others about Jesus so they can be saved and go to heaven with Jesus. 
 

1John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Isn't this great to know? That Jesus will plead our case to God when we sin. When we ask for forgiveness, Jesus pleads our case, He is our advocate with our Father in Heaven. As long as we hold onto Jesus we will be forgiven.

The Triumphal Entry

{c:red} Matthew 21: 1-22
1. And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Beth-pha-ge, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
2. Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring, them unto me.
3. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
4. All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet saying,
5. TELL YE THE DAUGHTER OF SION, BEHOLD, THY KING COMETH UNTO THEE, MEEK, AND SITTING UPON AN ASS, AND A COLT THE FOAL OF AN ASS.
6. And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
7. And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
8. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Ho-san-na to the son of David: BLESSED IS HE THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Ho-san-na in the highest.
10. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11. And the multitude said, Thi is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12. And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of he moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves.
13. And said unto them, It is written, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED THE HOUSE OF PRAYER; but ye have made it a DEN OF THIEVES.
14. And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
15. And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, saying Ho-san-na to the son of David; they were sore displeased,
16. And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES AND SUCKLINGS THOU HAST PERFECTED PRAISE?
17. And he left them, and went out of the city into Beth-a-ny; and he lodged there.
18. Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it,  and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20.And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saing, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21. Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

 

{c:violet}} It foretold in the bible that Jesus would ride through on an ass and with the colt. All these things had to take place to fulfill the sayings of prophets. With Jesus healing the people in the temple on the Sabbath and by what authority. These things were leading up to how Jesus would be arrested before being crucified.Isn't it amazing Jesus even foretold that He would be put to death, that he would be betrayed by one of the disciples. He knew that His destiny was Calvary, but continued to do His Father's will even though He knew what was to come. Now that is the greatest love of all.

 

Romans 14:12
So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God.

We need to always be aware of what we say and do. One day we will stand before God and give an account for all that we have done, and for the things that we should have done. So let us not be guilty of judging others, and not telling the lost about Jesus. Let be guilty of loving God with all of heart and soul and loving our neighbors as well. Let us tell everyone we see about Jesus and His love for all. So that the lost may accept Jesus.
 

1John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfect in us.

If we keep in touch with God through prayer and read His word, then we can show love to others through God's love for us.
 

Romans15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all the joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes we feel that things in our lives is hopeless. That there is no way out of a situtation. We need to remember to go to God in prayer. With God there is always hope because with God all things are possible. Things that man can't do God can overcome regardless the job. No matter how big or small God can conqueror any problem.
 

Romans 8:15
For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out Abba! Father.

In our lives we will experience trials and troubles but if we have accepted Jesus and have been saved God in Heaven is our Father. God wants us to cry out to Him in prayer. God wants to talk to us, listen to us pour our heart out to Him. It doesn't matter the time of day, that we go to God in prayer He is always there. He is always ready to listen. So cry out to your Father in Heaven and tell Him the desires of your heart, and the trials and troubles of your day.
 

2 Corinthians1:5
For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
Have you ever experienced great suffering? Like the pain and sorrow of a loved one dying? Thinking that there is no way you could ever be comforted.God in Heaven knows when we cry, and whether we realize it or not, He holds us in His arms. When no one else can give us comfort from our trials and troubles, God can and will, if we give everything to Him.
 

John 8:3131-32
31.Jesus therefore was saying to those jews who had believed, If you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of mine.
32. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

I know it is hard to set aside time to read the bible everyday. But this is something we all need to do. It is how we keep in touch with God. It is how He gives us direction, shows us the truth, and points us in the right direction. We need to pray and talk to God everyday. Set your alarm clock for 15 minutes earlier than normal and just read a few verses and pray. Thank God for all the blessings in your life and thank Him for letting you wake up to see a new day. It will amaze you the difference you experience in your day. God loves us and wants us to talk to Him things are good, bad, and sad. He wants us to talk to Him everyday not just when there is a crisis in our life.

Matthew 9:27-29
27. And Jesus passed on from there two blind men followed Him crying out, and saying " Have mercy on us Son of David!"
28. And after He had come into the house, the blind men came up to Him and Jesus said to them " Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, "Yes Lord."
29. Then He touched their eyes, saying "Be it done according to your faith, and their eyes were opened.

Through Jesus all things are possible. I know many times in my life I have been blind. I have seen only what I wanted to. I have not followed God's will like He would have me to. Then when we get down in the valley and seem so alone and devestated, we call on Jesus that we need help. He opens our eyes and shows us the way out of the valley. But one thing I have learned, whether we are in the valley or on the highest mountain we are never alone .If we ask Jesus to open our eyes He can and will. To let us see what need to do for Him and He will heal our broken spirit.Because with God all things are possible. He can remove obstacles that we can't. Until the day that Jesus saved me I was completely blinded by my sins praise God for sending His only Son Jesus to save us from a lifetime of sin Amen.

 

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We need to start telling everyone about Jesus and how they can be saved. We need to spread the word of Jesus to everyone. This would make a great New Years resolution to tell others of Jesus.

Tell someone about Jesus before it's to late

Clean out the thoughts of all jealousy
Get rid of the concept it's all about me

Add a little faith into the batch
Add love for all that's a great match

Put prayer as the main ingredient today

Add one part patience to all you do
Add one part of forgiveness into the recipe too

Add mercy, peace, and a lot of grace
Remove envy and let love take it's place

Add courage to tell others about God above
That He sent Jesus to show His love

Start each day with hope and add a smile
Tell others of Jesus all the while

Add a touch of good cheer, do a good deed
Add a touch of compassion, help someone in need

Add a touch of sacrafice, and a lot of joy
Tell others of Jesus, some it may annoy

Add a touch of love keep others in your prayers
That they may accept Jesus, and give Him all their cares

Take one day at a time, there is no promise of tomorrow
Go to God's arms for comfort, when you are filled with sorrow

Add a little sunshine to someone's day
Tell them about Jesus along the way

Mix all together and shake and blend
Your recipe results with Jesus as your best Friend

 

Matthew 16:13-19
16.When Jesus came into the coast of Caes-a-re-a a Phi-lip-pi, he asked his disciples, saying, whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14. And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jo-na: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18. And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus questioned the disciples to see what others were saying. Who others believed that He may be. Then Jesus asked them who they thought He was. Peter makes a great witness, he has been told by God in Heaven and believes with all his heart and knows that Jesus is God's only Son. As Christians we need to be witnessing to others about who Jesus is and what He has done to save us all. Just as Peter did later on we will fall and stumble along the way, but we must ask God to forgive us and lead us to where is work needs done. Peter done great work for God, many times he was beaten and thrown in prison but he kept up the work that God gave him to do..
