Two weeks ago, we started a painting class with Ms. Sarah in my living room in Niamey, Niger. Some of us never used a canvas before. I was one of those people. We came together in such a beautiful way as in a creative dance of inspiration ever unfolding anew. Now there are many beautiful pieces of art all around the room; some are awaiting completion, some are done and I am writing mystical poems to go along with each finished piece. Ms. Sarah and I talked about having an Art and Poetry Exhibition in her lovely garden one of these days...
