John Stark House Tour  





Shown here in the Northeast Parlor on a tilt-top table are a brass push-up chamber stick; a framed picture of General John Stark with a small lock of his hair taken at age 94; a pair of what are believed to be his own eyeglasses and case.

Small trunk carried by Archibald Stark from Scotland when he immigrated to America. The only article to survive the house fire of the family home in Nutfield (now Londonderry).





House Chairman Anne Landini is in the upstairs bedroom displaying textiles. She is holding an antique bridal gown and on the mannequin is a bedgown and cap.

The windows of the John Stark House were covered with a UV protective film to keep its interior and artifacts from the sun's damaging rays.
