That is the tiniest thank you but it has the biggest set of emotions behind it.. i love you all so very much.

I have been presented with the amazing priviledge and opportunity of being the current American Leathergirl as part of the American Brotherhood Family. My title family includes, American Leatherwoman Shelley, American Leatherman Rus (both from Seattle) and American Leatherboy boy Ed (Texas).

Being given this honor is a precious gift, a gift I plan to make the most of. Leathergirls are on the move and it's time we show all that we are and all we are capable of.

DC Leatherfest is an event that will reach across boundaries, involving and including any and all persons and organizations with an interest in the leather lifestyle. Event activities being planned include educational seminars, a casino night benefiting local charities, and an outdoor block party in downtown Washington, D.C. followed by a dance party.

dawn marie has been active in the BDSM/Leather lifestyle since January of 2004. In finding the scene she feels she found the keys to her heart and soul and views everyday as a new opportunity to grow as a leathergirl and submissive. She has been given the honor of serving her community as Ms. Philadelphia Leather 2005. Since then she organized a Leather Day of Caring event, the Bike Stop's Kinky Karnival, and a leathergirl breakfast reception at Ms. World Leather 2005. In November of 2005, she with her leather sister, peanut, co-founded the Northeast girls of Leather a space for leathergirls to find sisterhood and through which to serve their leather community.  She holds an associate membership to The Liberty Bears and NJ Andromeda, and is a member of NCSF.

She continues to host a monthly bar night for Women at The Bike Stop in Philadelphia and has traveled to leather events throughout the country, volunteering and/or judging when invited. You just might hear her before you see her - because quiet is something she's never been accused of. She identifies herself as the Queer Kinky Marilyn Monroe meets Martha Stewart. Her Leather Family calls her the bombshell, which she feels suits her just fine. She's a Jersey Girl at heart, currently residing near Trenton with her chihuahua, Lady Bird Johnson.
