 This is a website dedicated to inmates serving time in U.S. Prisons and in prisons all around the world.  Through this site we hope to attract pen pals that can bring friendship, love and laughter to lonely prisoners who are locked away from society. It is a known fact that 90% of prisoners lose all contact with family, friends and loved ones after 3 years. There are several lonely men and woman who need friendship and mail.  Letters are the biggest things inmates look forward to.

Inmates addresses can change at anytime, so I have added the telephone number for the California Department of Corrections Locator line to locate  male or female inmates:

call to get current information: To locate an inmate within the California Department of Corrections, please call (916) 445-6713. You must have the inmate's CDC number, or the inmate's full name and date of birth to receive information.

I have known and written (still do write) inmates that need that friendship. They look so forward to hearing their name called out at mail call. They want to recieve letters, cards, and pictures. I have also been sending torn out pages of crossword puzzles, Sudoku puzzle pages, printing off jokes from the computer as well. They love this!  The reason that you have to send torn out pages are because you cannot send the book itself to them. In most cases you can send lined paper, as well as envelopes and stamps too. You will need to check with the inmates prison to find out the rules for doing this.

I am doing my best at updating this website as best as I can. I do hope that you will bare with me as I have my young disabled children that keep me very busy. Thanks a bunch! ~Kathie

I have changed the way we do the birthday list!

I have created a calendar that anyone can update adding the inmates information so they can receive birthday cards on their birthday! 

I really do hope this helps everyone who is wanting to list a name for their friend or family member!

***All applications MUST be filled out correctly.

***All emails MUST  have in the subject line: Application Inmate Listing.

Emails are going to spam, and I do not check them often. As well, Emails are being over looked because there is unknown subject lines, or blank subject lines.

***They MUST be in the format that I have given otherwise.  

***They also must be filled out correctly as well. I MUST have release dates or an approximate year at least. (You can always change this)

I will no longer be adding applications to the web site, that are not in the format that I have given.
