:: Who Is Waluigi?

Who is this man? What is his purpose?

For some reason, we don’t know.

Waluigi is Wario’s friend and (claimed to be) his brother. His hobbies are known among many, but nobody knows for sure about Waluigi.

Waluigi debuted in the year 2000, In the Nintendo 64 game, “Mario Tennis”, as Wario’s Doubles Partner. He was a technique player, due to his long, pasta-like arms and legs. This video game had a sequel in 2004, but we will get to that later. In 2001, Waluigi appeared as one of the main villains in Mario Party 3, as he stole the mischief star stamp, the final star stamp you needed to clear the game. He would challenge you to his island board map, full of booby-traps. Unfortunately, Waluigi failed. Waluigi was also a playable character in this game, but only appeared in the Party Mode.

Waluigi was missing from the top-selling hit in 2001, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and so was his claimed brother, Wario. However, they DID appear as trophies. Afterwards in 2002, Waluigi made his third playable appearance, Mario Party 4. At long last, Waluigi was playable for story mode.

Later on, Waluigi appeared in many games, such as Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Party 5, and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! In 2003. He had his own kart, The Waluigi Racer.

In 2004, Waluigi appeared in Mario Power Tennis, the sequel to his debut, and Mario Party 6. He also made a cameo appearance in Paper Mario 2: The Thousand-Year Door, as Mario’s clothes would match his when wearing both W and L emblems. Waluigi later appeared Mario Superstar Baseball, Mario Party 7, and Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix as the first boss.

Waluigi is known for one thing: He hates Mario’s younger brother, Luigi. He always tries to sneak his way to the top, but always ends up failing.
