When 27 year old John cena made his debut on WWE Smackdown, no one thought he could pull off a half decent match with fellow wwe superstar Kurt Angle, but John cena proved everyone wrong for the first of many times to come.
John cena started out in the body building business in california. He was obviously very successful, and has won two Iron Man contests. When Cena's friend(name unknown) gave him a wrestling offer, Cena at first pushed it away. Days later Cena gave it a try and was hooked since.
Since John's debut he has grown to be one of the best in the business. He is a Self-Proclaimed Veterain of the WWE.
John Cena has wrestled some of the greatest names in the WWE such as Brock Lesnar(WWE Champion), Undertaker, Chris Benoit, and Eddie Guererro. John Cena was #21 in the 2003 Royal Rumble, and wrestled Chris Jericho in the 2003 Royal Rumble.
John Cena went on to face Big Show at Wrestlemania 20 in 2003 for the U.S. Title. Once again cena proved he could pull through and won the U.S. Title that night.
As of today Cena has done so much more than just wrestling. On January 15, 2004 he will have his very first rap CD come out. He has worked long and hard on this and is garenteed to be great! Cena is also doing a movie, for WWE productions, called "The Marine." He will be gone for some time, but when he returns there is no doubt he will still be on top of his game kicking the ass of anyone who stands in his way of becoming number one.

Since Cena's return he has fueded with newcomer carlito "Carribean" Cool, and is currently feuding with kenzo Sazuki. John has taken the US Championship to a whole other level by personalizing and customizing it. He turned the US Championship hip hop. It is now a spinner championship with lots of shiney diamonds. It is no doubt that a new and improved WWE Championship may be in Cena's future. We will have to wait and see.
