On June 5, I ran a marathon for Team in Training...what a blast!
I
recently biked 27 miles across the Flint Hills of Kansas with a great
group of friends. It was so much fun and so amazing...six months
ago, I would not have been able to physically handle the length of the
ride and the distance we travelled.
Welcome to my page! It is a work in progress, but so am I!
My name is Sarah, and I'm from the great state of
Kansas. No, I don't know Dorothy, never seen a tornado, and my
dog's name isn't Toto! I am very proud of where I am from, and
someday I hope you'll visit my beautiful state, get off of I 70 and see
the wild beauty that Kansas has to offer. I hope that you will
enjoy the pictures on here, and come back to visit again, to see how
this page is progressing...
A couple of pictures from Kansas....a friend on his combine out west, and a beautiful Kansas sunset
There is one place in Kansas that I consider to be
one of my favorite places in the world. I grew up in it's
backyard, and learned so much there about life, living, and finding
myself, as well as all the great things my professors droned on and on
about. K-State is my alma mater, as well as where my husband got
2 degrees. We are huge supporters of the university, and are
proud to say that is where we went to school.
The fountain is at the gardens where my husband
proposed to me. The Powercat is the K-State logo. Anderson
Hall is one of the most beautiful buildings on campus.
Higginbotham Gate, at the entrance to campus from historic Aggieville
KSU Rugby Club and fun times at Rock A Belly Deli....fun, yet hazy, memories from my days at K-State! (I'm the blonde)
One of the best things from Kansas...my dear
husband! I was told one time that I would have to marry a Kansas
boy, and lo and behold, I did!
Jason on his dad's bike, with dad watching in the background...
We were a match made in heaven....
In Napa Valley, California, with my uncle's bike...what a great day!
Thanks for stopping by to see me! See you on the flip side....
