Aaargh!  What do they wear here??

 

 

 

Navy polo with logo

and

Khaki chino shorts/pants with logo

Optional: Navy sweater/sweatshirt with logo (no hooded sweatshirt)

White turtlenecks are also allowed with all dress uniforms (no logo required).

Socks: navy blue or white crew sock covering the anklebone

 

 

 

Navy polo with logo/White knit Peter Pan Shirt (no logo required)

and

Blessed Sacrament jumper

(MUST TOUCH THE KNEE)

OR

Khaki chino shorts/slacks with logo

and

Navy polo with logo

Optional: Navy sweater/sweatshirt with logo (no hooded sweatshirts)

      Shoes     

Solid, neutral colored (black, brown, navy, gray) lace or buckle oxford, loafer, docksiders, or laced shoe.

Low top, rubber soled sneakers in neutral colors (white, black, navy blue, gray or a combination of these colors) may be worn at any time but are required on gym days.

No platforms, boots, open-toed, or wheelies are allowed.

Heels should be no higher than 1-½inches.

Shoes should have a non-skid sole.

Scouting Uniforms: Scouting uniforms may be worn on scout meeting days.

 

 

Aaargh!  What about P. E.???

(P.E. is a little scary here!)

 

  • Gym uniforms should be worn to school on gym days only.

  • White super t-shirt (no logo required)

  • Optional: Navy sweater/sweatshirt with logo (no hooded sweatshirt)

  • Socks: navy blue or white crew sock covering the anklebone

  • Shoes: Low top, rubber soled sneakers in neutral colors (white, black, navy blue, gray or a combination of these colors) may be worn at any time but are required on gym days.

For parents who prefer all cotton clothing, gym shorts and shirts with the BSS logo, girls white blouses, boys and girls light blue or navy blue polo shirts and boys’ and girls’  navy slacks are available from Lands’ End. 

For gym shorts and shirts, you must ask for logo # 9811482k.  Also, BSS will receive a commission if you mention the preferred school account number: 9000-2636-0. 

 When placing an order, start your conversation with the operator by saying that you are placing a school uniform order for a preferred school account.  Lands’ End catalogs are available in the school office.


 

 

Aaargh!  Just a few more things...

  • No tank tops, spaghetti straps, tube tops or “short” shorts on Dress Down Days.

  • No wide-legged or sagging pants/shorts on Dress Down Days.

  • Skirts MUST TOUCH THE KNEE.

  • Waistbands may not be rolled.

  • No inappropriate slogans or pictures on Tee shirts.

  • Coats or windbreakers are not to be worn inside the school building.

  • Nice jeans are permitted on Dress Down Days. Jeans may not be patched or torn.

  • Tights or leggings without skirts are not permitted on Dress Down Days.

  • Make-up and nail polish may not be worn to school.

  • Girls may wear one set of small-posted earrings in the lobe. Boys may not wear earrings.

  • Jewelry is limited to one ring per hand, a wristwatch, and one necklace with a single religious

  • pendant.

  • Boys’ hair is to be cut above the ears, above the collar and the eyebrows with no tails.

  • No colored, dyed or spiked hair.

  • All shirts are to be tucked in at all times.
