Now we are in "full swing" and we are all realizing that the third grade is hard. We are doing division already! Calvary Chapel has the awesome opportunity to challenge it's students and allow them to work at a higher standard than most students at public schools. One of our assetts is our parent/teacher relationships. Parents of students here know that they have the priveledge of frequent communication with teachers and principals and the priveledge of knowing that teachers here will make special arrangement and go out of their way encourage and give special attention to individuals....just because they can...and just because God has called them to do so. Our third grade class is no exception. I appretiate that parents have called me...even with the little questions, because I know that it is far more productive for me to read a few questions over the phone than it is for a parent to search for a paper for an hour, or even worse guess or give up. I welcome the little insignificant questions and concerns. I know that a parents role here is more time consuming than other schools because of the difficulty of the curriculum and the amount of homework. Our mind can rest, though, knowing that a Christian education with challenging academics is extremely valuable.
Welcome to the interactive webpage for Mrs. Birch's Third Grade class. Every attempt will be made to keep this site current and efficient. You will notice that there is a place to contact me on this site in case I am not completely up to date...or if you have any questions.Third graders may also make use of this site in order to find some homework assignments that they forgot about or to type something in the Third Grader Forum. I hope you have as much fun exploring this site as I did making it. ~Mrs. Birch
