Class Introduction.

Welcome to sixth grade science.  In science this year, we will explore the following topics: lab safety, measurement, properties of matter, changes in matter, geology, water, and human growth.  That is a lot to cover in one year, but the time will go by very quickly because everyday we will be doing labs or activities that you will be involved with directly.  It is the goal of sixth grade science that you gather an understanding of the objectives that we will be teaching as well as practice the ability to think critically.
