The Spetsnaz Airsoft Team was created in November, 2005. We are an airsoft team that prides itself in healthy fun, as well as friendly competition. Our team is highly diversified, including members that are teachers of middle school and junior high, and students, as well as executives! Our team has a place for everyone. We are based in Lake Forest, Illinois, in the Chicagoland area.
Airsoft is a mil-sim activity, or military simulation. We are less inclined towards complete accuracy than other teams, but what we sacrifice in persnickity attitude, we make up for in enjoyment. Airsoft uses weaponry that "fires" 6 or 8 mm plastic pellets of varying weight, ranging from .16 grams to .44 grams.
