This company saw light in 1997 and since then has dedicated itself to producing unique, nature-based products without necessarily endangering nature itself. This is because it uses non-forest raw materials that are just available around readily and in abundance but which generally have not been noticed and utilized in the past especially for mass production.
These are usually unusual materials like small diameter trees, treetops and roots, sawmill waste, sea life waste, leaves, seeds, grass flowers and even termite homes! Several species of bamboo especially the awesome giant bamboo with an average diameter of 7" and plantation wood are also used extensively.
These materials are then transformed into non-clone type, unusual, interesting and unique furniture, lamps, table tops, crafts and even architectural components.
For those who do not want to be just like everybody else and who go for the natural and unique (something the neighbors don't have), By Nature & Mr. 8 is definitely for them! (Mr. 8 is the short name of the owner/designer.)
***Shown below is Mr. 8 (not Mr. Bean) holding a pod of the largest beans in the world. This is 1.5 meters in length and 10 centimeters at the widest. The seeds have an average diameter of 4.5 cm and a thickness of 2 cm, deep brown in color and naturally lustrous. These seeds can be made into uniquely beautiful key holders, pen holders, curtain beads and many other equally interesting items. As to whether they are edible, Mr. 8 is still looking for volunteers to give it a try. Would you be interested?***
