The Mt. Pleaseant aircraft club is a group of Radio Controlled Flight enthusiasts with a love for flying and fun. We have found the greatest hobby in the world and would love to share it with you. Look around at our site, then come to the field and see us fly. Perhaps your dreams of flight can become true (we'll try our best to make sure your plane stays safe)!

About us

Mt. Pleasant Model Aircraft Club is dedicated to the hobby of building and flying radio controlled model planes. We have about 35 members. We are located in Mt. Pleasent Michigan, approximately two miles north of Mt. Pleasent.Just north of the Mt. Pleasent airport on Airport rd. Mt. Pleasant Model Aircraft is one of the friendliest RC club around. Coming events:

• Meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on Weds Eve. April 19 at the flying field unless it is raining and real bad. Come and see the new mower. If neccessary we will meet at airport.

Pilot Training

Pilot training is provided at no cost by one of our club instructors and is open to anyone. Club membership is not required to obtain pilot training, nor is membership into AMA. At our club if you have the plane, the only requirement is a desire to learn the sport, If you would like flight training, just come to "Student Night" every Tuesday at the club field during the summer months started about 6:30pm. If you need instruction on other days or nights please contact one of the instructors thay may be able to help you.
