        I KNOW you are amazed - cause I am myself!! I've updated my site TWICE in one week. Pictures have been added for several items - Carra's PAM, HPL donation and GTTW donation. I have also added several photos to my yahoo group.

        I have completed several models in the past month and I HAVE PICURES. Yes, I know...amazing. Things have just been SO very busy this summer. And unexpected for much of it. I have updated my in the works page - - please check out all the new pictures.

I cannot remember a time in my life without horses. I have been lucky enough to have real horses to learn from and love all of my life. Model horses were just a natural extension to a deep love for the real ones.

The first model horse I can remember receiving was a Breyer Western Horse when I was about 4 years old. After that, I would get one here or there for a birthday or for Christmas. I did not discover the true size of the hobby until about 1991 when I began my serious collecting. I was finally able to attend a BreyerFest in 1999 when the customizing bug really bit. I have been customizing ever since.

I have added a few pictures of my customs and you can navigate through them at the links on the left hand side of this page. I originally worked only in acrylics. I have since tried and LOVE pastels. I add finishing touches in acrylic. I find both very satisfying to work with.

I have mostly worked on creating realistic models and had played with the idea of creating a complete fantasy model. Now, I have my first unrealistic color on my first unicorn - this was a fun project for me.   I have since done a pegasus in the same color....

I have completed the donation piece for Buccaneer Live 2008 (see the first picture on my page above). He is a LOVELY grulla dun appaloosa. I am also currently working on the commission from the MAR certificiate winner along with some show string prospects for myself.

I work full time and do customizing in the evenings and on the weekends. I have 3 sons, 5 horses (2 of which have crossed over), 3 cats, a dog and 10 acres to look after also. I LOVE having such a FULL life. Although it may take me a little time to get your CM done, know that when I work on a custom for you, you will get the best I have to offer!!
