Animal Crossing

Intro

Hi, my name is Brian W. and welcome to my Animal Crossing site. All of this information is my own that I've collected while playing Animal Crossing. So no plagiarizing! :) If you'd like to contact me, my e-mail is brian_mp16@yahoo.com

I now have an Animal Crossing for the Wii website up here: Animal Crossing: City Folk

Another HRA World Record - 641,513; my previous- 616,313
Discovery of a Duplicating Item trick. (below polls)
Non-WoT HRA World Record - 405,746 (below DI trick)

I'm now at my 8th HRA record. This one is the second largest improvement since my discovery of the hidden items glitch. I'm sure you're wondering how I could have improved my score so dramatically even with an seeminly perfect HRA score. Well, it all started on 6/10/08 (4 days before my new score). When I was just messing around trying to figure out how to duplicate Bells, I accidentally stumbled across this trick that allows two Wario's Woods to appear above a 2x1 dresser/stereo. Normally this isn't possible because a Dresser/Stereo can only hold one furniture item at once since the furniture item must be pushed through and displayed like it is on a table. Any additional items on a Dresser/Stereo will be removed permanently. The trick is to place the dresser/stereo on top of whatever two items you want. Both items will stay on the dresser/stereo as long as you don't re-enter your house. If you re-enter your house, you'll notice the two items are still there, but the instant you leave your house again, the item on left will be removed forever. Once you do the glitch, your entire house must be finished before leaving or else you'll lose the HRA points for that item. Because of this, I was skeptical about this trick working.

For an hour or so, I thought of many creative ideas to see if there's any possible way to use this glitch to increase my HRA score. While thinking, I had a revelation on how to improve my score by four more Wario's Woods. It seemed so simple, yet it hadn't crossed my mind before. Instead of trying to create NMT's as my last form of adding additional Wario's Woods, why didn't I simply use tables instead. I could just take down three Wario's Woods from the regenerators which would let me place three more items in the room. Then just place three Wario's Woods on top of three tables. This would let me add another Wario's Woods on the main floor, and three more on the top floor. On top of that, I realized because of this new idea of mine, it was possible to do my original trick that started all this, which is to have two Wario's Woods on the Harvest Dresser. After a lot of planning, I found I had to replace four Wario's Woods with the Writing Set to allow another Wario's Woods to appear on the robo-stereo (a fifth regenerator) so I could allow another Wario's Woods to be placed in my house. This would barely push my score above 630K. But when I finished completing my entire house, I lost 1600 points for unknown reasons. Now normally when you lose points in increments of 800, you have some sort of furniture you interact with facing a wall. This made me lose my 630K goal and I was not satisfied until I passed it.

Completely lost on what I should do, I almost gave up and accepted the 628K score I had. I knew that I couldn't take down my house because of the Hidden Items on the tables, so if I wanted to improve my HRA score, I would have to start a whole new house from scratch.. I was so disappointed that I tried everything I could to be able to take down my house. Then another breakthrough happened. I was messing around the furniture with a hidden item on it, and I  pulled it backwards. I then attempted to pick it up, and it worked! I moved on to pushing back the next furniture item, and I picked it up as well! This allowed me to take down my entire house! Upon further investigation of this new glitch, I found the hidden item that was on the NMT is not disturbed when taking down the furniture. The hidden item actually acts like what a regular item would act like if you picked up the table it's on from under you, like the first step in making an NMT! This means, I could make my own NMT's without using anything but a 1x1 table (or anything else) and when I left the room, the item doesn't drop to the floor. Because the items are hidden, I can walk right over them. With a lot of planning and trial and error, I found a way to remove the Writing Set and replace it with more Wario's Woods (increasing my score by 1887 points). This new trick branched out into a whole series of new glitches. On of them that, I figured out was being able to remove the table the hidden item was on, then that spot empty. But there's still a hidden item there even when you leave and re-enter your house. This allowed another Wario's Woods to appear above a regenerator (Robo-Stereo) which gave me enough room to do another trick. The trick is simple: because the hidden items are still floating when you take down the furniture its on, you can replace that furniture with any other furniture allowing you to switch tables the hidden item is on. This allowed me to be able to switch the apple set with the Harvest Dresser while keeping the hidden items and I could incorporate my original trick (with the two items on a 2x1 stereo/dresser) then continue filling every remaining space in my house with Wario's Woods. After all that,  my new HRA brings my score up 25,200 points to 641,513. There's only three possible ways to increase my score: 1, Figure out a trick to eliminate the -2400 points I get for incorrectly placed furniture even though there is none. 2, A glitch is discovered to allow more than 2 items in any given spac. Or 3, Find a bug in the HRA system such as being able to use two of the same set in a room and both times get a set bonus for them. Other than those three ways, there is no possible way to improve this score (because every space has been filled) Now for the first time, I made a video so you can see my glitches be put into action:

----------------------------------
My previous HRA scores
----------------------------------

616-313 - This is my 7th HRA record. I have finally got the first floor alone of this new score to beat the entire non-WoT HRA score! :D I improved my old one by 2,760 by adding another Wario's Woods Hidden Item. I found a way to get a 2x1 table in a 1x3 gap which allowed me to add one more Wario's Woods Hidden Item above the Naomi Figurine. I would have done this sooner but I was trying to find a way to use a 1x1 item to get on a table instead of a 2x1 item. If I did find a way, my score could be increased another 2760, but I'm fairly certain it's not possible. I'm taking a risk because now it's impossible to take down my house. I can't take down an item with a Hidden Item on it, so if I find a way to improve my score again, the only way I can do it is to start a whole new house and build it up from scratch again. This time I'm almost certain the score can't be increased without a new glitch. I know I've said this every time, but now I'm almost 100% sure.

613,553 - Now I'm up to my 6th HRA record. I found a few flaws in the first floor of my 605,294 score such as using the Nintendo Set and Writing Set. Since they both consisted of big objects that take up more than a 1x1 space, if I simply replaced the bigger objects with more Wario's Woods, I would end up with more points. Also, I found a way to add a Hidden Item Wario's Woods on the Emi Figurine. These new additions boosted my score by 8,259 points. Another thing to add is that I rearranged my entire first floor so I could get the Harvest Dresser on the other side. The reason for this was so I could have a longer line of "regenerators." If I didn't rearrange the furniture, I would not have been able to get an additional Wario's Woods on the Emi Figurine. My previous score explains the Hidden Items glitch more thoroughly. I believe this is the highest possible score without a new discovery of a glitch.

605,294 - This
is now my 5th HRA record. And this time, I must say I've outdone myself. Not only did I increase my previous HRA score by 179,709 points, I skipped the 500K barrier and went straight through the 600K barrier! I doubt a single person who knows about Animal Crossing thought this would be a possible goal to reach. I know I didn't. You're most likely wondering how I managed to increase my score so dramatically. Well, it's all thanks to a new glitch I discovered that allows you to go beyond the 64 item limit and 48 item limit using things I call "hidden items." After playing around with my glitch I discovered that let's you duplicate items that can be placed on tables, I got an idea.

First of all, whenever you make a duplicating item stereo/dresser, and you take away the item that's being duplicated, it will reappear when you leave the room and come back. My idea was this: What would happen if I took down the duplicated item and then put the max amount of furniture in the room before I left the room and came back? Would the duplacted item regenerate because it's forced to, or would it not regenerate because the max item limit has been reached? I had interesting results. When I returned to the room, the item had regenerated above the dresser, but another item that was placed on a table below it had disappeared. I tried picking up the table, but it wouldn't let me. So I saved and quit, came back the next day and realized my HRA score went up beyond 425,585. (I was using my 425,585 HRA record room)

From here, I was excited, confused, and frustrated. I was excited because I found a new way to increase my HRA score, and by a landslide. I was confused because I was still not quite sure what was going on, and I was frustrated because I realized this would no easy task to rearrange my room, redesign it on paper, and make 50+ hidden items in one room that would be hard to keep track of since they're hidden. After hours and hours of designing, new glitch finding, and trial and error, I got the first floor layed down on paper. It's not perfect, but it's still great. For the next 10 hours I slowly put this floor together. I soon realized I had to use the Walking on Tables glitch a lot the old fashioned way, by getting on the table using a 2x1 item. I found new glitches to improve my room again. About a day and a half later, I finish the first floor. In total, the first floor is worth 396,489 points! Just the first floor is less than 30,000 points away from my last HRA record!

After I finished the first floor, I realize I could improve it again by adding two more hidden Wario's Woods using a 2x1 table. However, by this point, I learned you can't undo a hidden item unless you reduce the 64 item limit, leave the room and return. This means if I wanted to add those two Wario's Woods, I would have to slowly remove every hidden item, and nonhidden item until my first floor was spotless and build it from scratch again. At this point, I was not willing to do that. I was still going to pass the 600K mark, and that's all I cared about. But since there's still room for improvement, I might do this in the future.

Whenever there are hidden items, the game forces the nonhidden table items that are still left out to the topleft corner. Then, places the extras to the right of the topleft corner all the way to the topright corner, then repeats one space down. (This is hard to desribe, but you can see what I mean in the First and Second Floor Pics) Interestingly, if there is a two-spaced dresser/stereo along the path, the game only places a nonhidden table item on one side of the dresser/stereo. I'm not sure why this is, but that's what happens. (You can also see this happening in the First Floor pic)

Now that you know about the glitch and what it does, here's what I did: First, I set it up so I could have the least amount of nonhidden table items so I could have room for more hidden items. (I had to make sacrifices for big objects such as the Arwing for the best score) Next, I set up the "regenerators" which are the stereos and dressers that regenerate the duplicated items. Since the nonhidden items are forced to the back, I had to set them up in the back. I make a straight path (that gets covered up by the figurine set after I'm done with everything else) to the regenerators where I simply pick up the item and cover the max space by putting in lots of NMTs with Wario's Woods/Set items. Then filling the remaining space with whatever's in my pocket. When I leave and return, the items that were hovering above the NMT have become invisible while the regenerators have regenerated more Wario's Woods. I repeat this process for the entire layout, and I am done.

The upstairs is slightly different. Since the first floor has the same amount of max space and room, there was nothing to worry about with not enough space. However, the upstairs can hold 48 items but only has room for 36. So I have to think creatively and place my regenerators in strategic spots. I first do the Walking on Tables glitch many times and set up the back two rows of items each with a Wario's Woods on top. I set up the regenerators in a straight path from the entrance. From there, it's just what I did on the main floor. An hour or so later, my house it complete. I predicted I would get a score or 606,848. But the HRA gave me 605,294 instead. I did some math, and found my prediction was 1554 points off. I realized this was because I didn't have a Nintendo Set upstairs, so the L. Nint. Set (Mario and Luigi Trophy) didn't get the additional 777 points like they normally would. However, if I did use the Nintendo Set upstairs, my score would be lower since the Arwing is so big, and every space counts. I'm fairly sure the upstairs is the best it can get, but I know the Main floor can be increased.

425,585 - This is my fourth HRA record.
However, this is not a self improvement. On May 31st, NintendoDad found a way to get additional 800 bonuses by placing sets directly next to each other. He took my original layout and rearranged the furniture. His score was 424,933. He came back again and improved his own score. Since my theory about bonuses happening from placing tables to the entrance was wrong, he replaced the citrus set and cactus set upstairs with the figurine set (something I wanted to do, but couldn't understand the strange bonuses) and improved the score by 361. (412-51). But after some looking at my main floor, he realized the Harvest Lamp could be placed on a table. I overlooked this and put it on the floor instead. Because of the extra spot, he found a way to improve the score to 425,452. After a lot of trial and error, I managed to get the 1600 bonus I was having trouble getting. I concluded that not only does the sets have to be directly touching each other, the furniture must point a certain direction. I fiddled with the chairs, dressers, etc. and got that bonus. Next, I worked on the upstairs and put in the Figurine Set. I looked at the main floor to see if NintendoDad's layout could be improved. And it could. I replaced the Daffodil Set with a Cactus Set,  took away a Wario's Woods, and got my score over 100 points higher than NintendoDad's.

----------------------------------
Here is how I contributed to improve all around HRA scoring:
----------------------------------

The original HRA world record that lasted 2 years was achieved on February 4th, 2005 by Brett Carver. You can find his website here: www.carverclan.us/ac.html. The score was 420,809 points. The "unsaid" rules of fair HRA points is the banning of items achievable only through Universal Codes or Action Replay. This score was of course achieved with the rules in play and so was mine. Many people believe that is the best possible HRA rating as numerous people tried to surpass and could only tie it.

I got interested in HRA scoring and how it worked, so I researched it. I found a lot of information, but it was lacking. I understood the scoring system, but there was a lot of information that was either incorrect or wasn't mentioned at all. So I began testing the HRA system myself to find the information I was curious about that the internet did not say. (or at least all the sites I went to)

I discovered something very useful: Fossil Sets

Fossil Sets work the same as Furniture Sets, except each fossil piece is an additional 1000 points instead of 51, 412, or 1029 for regular pieces of furniture.
Example: T-Rex set- (3*3K)+(3*1K)=12000
The only downside to Fossil Sets is how much space they occupy. A T-Rex Set takes up 12 spaces and is only 3 items. This is where a specific Fossil Set comes in handy: The Ptera Set. The Ptera pieces are smaller (2 spaces) and follow the same formula as the other fossil sets. But that additional space still effects the overall picture. This is where the Walking on Table Glitch comes in.

The Walking on Table Glitch, discovered by neopuff344 has a side effect called NMT (Newly Made Tables). It lets any item become a table. There are only a few item sets that can actually be placed on tables, so this side effect is limited, but still significantly useful. (This glitch is allowed in HRA records.) This glitch also helps add points when the floor is completely full of items but the maximum number of items has not been reached. The maximum number of items that can be used on the first floor is 64. The max for the 2nd floor is 48.

Another interesting part to the HRA system is the Feng Shui. Whenever a Feng Shui item is put in a room, the HRA gives in an additional 777 points for each Feng Shui Item. A lot of Feng Shui items were used, and the most common one, Island NES games. for every additional NES game (it doesn't matter which ones) that NES game gets 777 more points. And the most valuable single item alone is Wario's Woods and Baseball which is worth 1983. Add 777 points to that, it's 2760 points for each one. However, the NES games are used only if need be, because when furnitures are in a set, they are all over 3000 points each. And every point counts. But they do contribute to racking up the HRA points.

Now, without further ado, here's pictures proving the new record, and the calculations to each set and series.

As of now, this is highest documented HRA score. Without some sort of new glitch discovery, I don't think this score can be topped, but to all those who want to get out there and go for an even higher HRA score, good luck.

Fun facts:
The top floor alone almost exceeds the best possible score without the Hidden Items glitch
There are more items on the top floor than the max limit on the main floor.
Every single space and table space is used on both the main floor and upstairs meaning it's impossible to take anything down.
If every item's HRA score increased by only 500 points, this new score would be exactly 100,000 points higher.

How to do the Walking on Tables, NMT, and my discovery: Duplicating Items glitches.

The first glitch that is the starting point to the other glitches is the Walking on Tables glitch originally discovered by neopuff344. It allows the character to stand on top of a table. Many side effects can be done using this glitch such as NMT (Newly Made Tables) which allows any item to act like a table. I used this glitch in my HRA record. However, the last glitch, the Duplicating Items glitch is my own personal discovery that allows you to infinitely pick up an item that can be placed on a table. The item will respawn when you leave the room and return. The following paragraphs will describe how to do all the glitches and why they happen, but if you want a lazier explanation, here is a video (quality sucks) I made that shows me performing all three glitches at once:

If the video doesn't play here, you can view it here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJE658GsN3w

I will describe how to perform the Walking on Tables glitch.
The following is required to do this glitch:

- Extra items to make a runway
- A 2x1 item
- A Table (2x1 or 2x2)

First, set up a runway like this:

It doesn't matter what items make up the runway, as long as they're in the correct spots. The table at the end can be a 2x1 table as well, but a 2x2 table is best to use since it's bigger. This next part can be real tricky and could take a while to do. You have to run and press start at the right moment. You want your feet to be barely past the NES game on the top left side. When you press start, grab your 2x1 item and drop. Right after you press drop, keep pressing the run button and push forward on the Joystick. If you timed it correctly, you will get onto the table.

But timing this is hard and takes practice. If you drop the 2x1 item too early, it will fall on the ground and you won't get on the table. If you drop it too late, you'll get the message "You can't put any more items there". Keep trying and you'll eventually get it.
HINT: Lean towards the right when running the runway a bit, it helps for some reason.

From here, you can do many things. You can drop items on the table, drop items on the ground, pick up the table from under your feet, etc. This is where we get into the next glitch: the Newly Made Table glitch. a.k.a. NMT glitch. The NMT glitch allows any item to act like a table. It's very easy after you've gotten on the table. Here's how it works. First, drop the item you want on top of the newly made table on top of the table you're standing on now.

Next, turn around and go to the edge of the table and press B. If nothing is by you that can be picked up, you will pick up the table from under your feet. When you do, the item you dropped on the table will remain floating there.

Now this item (NES game) will act like an empty space, and you can drop any other item you want where it is. But when you do, the dropped item will hover high above the already hovering item. (NES game)

Now, to switch their places so it looks like an actual table, simply leave the room and come back. The two items will switch places and the non table item (Robot Stereo) will be resting on the ground with the table item (NES game) hovering above it.

The only thing that doesn't work is "trash items" These are items that will lose 1 HRA point when placed in an HRA effected part of the house. The full list can be found here: Scroll to the bottom. From here, you can push, pull, rotate the item and the hovering item will move with it. However, since I'm using a stereo, the hovering item won't move with the stereo when you push, pull, and rotate it. This is where the third glitch, my own discovery comes it. The third glitch, the Duplicating Items glitch requires a stereo (doesn't matter what size) and all the items necessary for the NMT glitch.

The Duplicating Items gllitch is a bit complicated, and doesn't make much sense, but I'll take you through it, how it works, and why it happens like this.

WARNING: When performing the Duplicating Item glitch, never use "trash" items (Money/Turnips/etc.) as the item you want to duplicate. If you do, it will disappear forever.

To start off the Duplicate Items glitch, you must make sure you don't have any music in your Music Library. (Where all your music is when you want to pick another song in your stereo) If you do, the glitch won't work and can even lose the item you're trying to duplicate for good! So remove all the music by selecting the songs in your library, select take out, and repeat to all music before going any further.

After the above requirement is complete, push the stereo away from the floating item. The stereo will move, and the hovering item will remain hovered. (a bunch of other useless glitches can be done from here, but I won't get into those, you can figure them out for yourself. :P )

(I moved the Lemon Table with the Turnips on it so you could see the Robot Stereo better.)

Now, go up to the Stereo and press A like you're going to put in some music. The stereo will say whatever item is hovering in midair is what's in the stereo. I'll explain why this happens in a while.

This is an unnecessary step, but it's to make sure the glitch is working. If it doesn't say it has the item you want to duplicate in it, then try the glitch again.

When you leave the room and return, the hovering item will return hovering above the stereo.
If everything has gone well, the glitch should be finished! You can press B to the robot, and the item floating will go to your pockets. Leave the room and come back, and the item will be hovering again. Pick it up and now you have two of the same item in your pockets! You can get as many duplicates of the item as you want.

Tip: You can drag the stereo closer to the entrance so you don't have to run to the back of the room every time to get the item. It will save you some time.

There are many uses for this glitch. You can use this glitch to duplicate high priced selling items and get millions of Bells quickly, duplicate Feng Shui items quickly and get your entire house full of good luck, or even duplicate a rare NES game so your friend can have a copy.
If you want to get millions of Bells, my suggestion would be catch a Large Char or Arowana (They sell for 10,000 each) and do the Duplicating Item glitch with them. Enter and re-enter the room to fill your inventory with them. For a complete inventory of 15 fish, Tom Nook'll give you 150,000 Bells! You can do that endlessly and doesn't take long at all.
Wesley76 suggested using an Autumn or Spring Medal if you have one since they sell for 14,000 Bells at Nook's. Thanks for the suggestion Wesley76.

Here's why everything happens the way it does involving the above three glitches

Here's the section you've been waiting for. Explaining why something happens the way it does with the three glitches: Walking on Tables glitch, NMT glitch, Duplicating Items glitch.

First, the Walking on Tables glitch. This glitch works because there is a fine line that separates the spaces inside a house. You can think of it like a gridline. When you drop an item in front of you too close to the gridline, you scoot back. This was put into the game to prevent standing halfway on the item.  But when you are running, and you drop an item while standing directly on the gridline, you move a few pixels past the halfway point and can't be pushed back because you're too far forward. So you get sent high in the air and then walk onto the table. You get so high in the air (and why items hover so high above a nontable table) because every item besides tables has an invisble barrier that stretches high, so you're actually walking on top of the invisible barrier. Tables have a low barrier so items placed on them don't hover high in the air.

Now on to the NMT glitch. When you pick the table up from under your feet, the item on the table remains hovering there. This happens because you're not supposed to be able to pick the table up when somethings on it, so the designers didn't need to program a dropping code for the item on the table, so it just stays there hovering in the air. Now, the reason you can place things on top of it is because it becomes an "invalid item". To correct this, the game ignores this item and acts like it's not even there, but still counts it toward the 64 item max (48 upstairs). So anything can be placed on it like it was the ground. and since any item that isn't a table has such a high barrier, the item placed on top will be on top of the barrier high in the air.

Now, the reason why the items switch when you leave and re-enter the room is very simple. The game realizes there is an error, and tries to correct it by putting the item originally on the table and activates the "put on table" mode. Since there is no table to support it, it takes the item above it and puts the item on top of the invisible barrier.

Now the Duplicating Item glitch is a bit more complicated, but I can explain it.

The first thing to know is stereos. They are a unique type of item. Their function is to play music. However, that is more complicated than it seems. The airchecks K.K. gives you have their own code. The "Music Code" as I'll refer to it. However, when placed inside a house, they're referred to as "trash items" that were mentioned earlier. They have two codes: "trash code" and "music code". The interesting thing about stereos is when music is put into the stereo, it's actually inside the stereo, but doesn't count toward HRA because it's passed a barrier, and anything that's bypassed a barrier is excluded from the HRA (this also is why items inside dressers/swardrobes/etc. aren't counted toward the HRA). What I mean is, if the stereo became invisible, you could see the aircheck floating inside it. Whenever multiple airchecks are put in, the airchecks being replaced disappear, but are put into a "save mode" which is known as the Music Library.

This "music code" allows the aircheck to bypass the barrier of a stereo and activate to play whatever music is programmed into it. The music code also allows the airchecks to be saved into a Library. Whenever an aircheck or anything else is inside the barrier of the stereo, the stereo reads the item's name and says that's what's playing. Since nothing else besides music is supposed to bypass the barrier, the programmers didn't install a self checking system for the stereo.

To explain why the stereo says: "It has Wario's Woods in it. What do you want to do?" in my video is because there is a Wario's Woods that has bypassed the stereo's barrier. So the game checks the name of the item inside the barrier, and says that is what's playing. But because there is no music code in anything but arichecks, there is nothing to play, and no way to save it in the Library. To explain why the Wario's Woods regenereates everytime you leave and re-enter the basement is simple. The Wario's Woods is a furniture item and isn't supposed to bypass barriers. So the game corrects this mistake and places it on the stereo like it was a table. There is always a Wario's Woods inside the stereo since that's the stereo is programmed to do: trap anything that bypasses its barrier. This explains why trash items besides airchecks get stuck in the Stereo and never come out.

Trash items have their own code which is always barrierless. That means you can walk over them when placed on the ground, don't have 3 dimensions, and are designed to fall to the ground when a barrier is abused. Whenever you do the Duplicating Item glitch with a trash item, it naturally wants to bypass the stereo's barrier so it can be inside the stereo and play like it was an aircheck. Since trash items don't obey barriers, fall to the ground, and don't have the music code so it can't be taken out from a music library, and stereo's trap anything that bypasses its barrier, the trash item gets stuck forever unless it was an aircheck with the music code. This is why Money/Turnips/etc. disappear when used in the duplicating item glitch.

There's only one more thing to cover: why the duplicating items glitch doesn't work when there is an aircheck inside the stereo. This is because there is already an item that's bypassed the barrier. Any new item that tries to enter will be rejected unless it's another aircheck to take the other one's place.

Okay, that's everything. That may have been fairly confusing, but that's okay, I'm not the greatest explainer. A lot of people asked if I could explain so and so, so here it is. Everything that explains these three glitches is right here. If you have any suggestions, e-mail me. Don't be hesitant, I'll most likely reply back to you.

My Non-WoT HRA World Record Score - 405,746

Some of you believe my 641,513 HRA score doesn't count because it involves glitches. Well, this score is not even near my current score, but it doesn't involve any glitches, and is still quite an achievement. The score is 405,746. This beat bkc's non-Wot score by 3,063 points, and NeoMario's score (who copied bkc's HRA layout except replaced the Blue Table with a Brick Block) by 2,475 points.

This layout involves the use of 8-bit Mario items, that are UC only which some people still think is wrong. I have three things to say to that.
1. NeoMario's score involved a UC only item: Brick Block
2. I could still beat bkc's 402,683 score by replacing his Guitar Set with three Wario's Woods on Blue Tables by 363 points.
3. The 8-bit Mario Theme UC's came from an edition of Nintendo Power, they were meant to be obtained this way.
4. They appear in your catalog.

Here's my final score, 405,746. I have a feeling this non-glitch score is the highest it can be.
