Scott Lange is the director of Movies From the Crypt, creator of this website, founder and president of Scotteration, Incorperated, and funder of MFTC. Scott also built almost all of the robots. He does the puppetry and voice of Chomper and Beeper in Season One, and currently (Season Two through the present) does the voice of Cameratron. He also plays the part of Dr. Scott Frostbender. MFTC is shot on location at Scott's Basement.

Austin McGuire is the director of photography and set designer of Movies From the Crypt. He also does the voice and puppetry of Vulture from Season Two on. After previous Vulture puppeteer Austin Altena resigned from his post, Nick and Scott were in need of a new crew member. Austin is long-time friend of Scott's, so, we shot an episode with him, and immediatly decided he'd be great for the role. Austin also stars as Ghandi, a mysterious old man who lives within the bowels of the Crippled Ship.

Nick Dissen is the creator, head writer, and assistant cameraman for Movies From the Crypt. After Nick, Scott, and Austin got done watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 one day, Nick got the bright idea of having us three try to do it. So, they  gathered up whatever puppets they could find from Scott's garage, built a remedial set in Austin's basement, and made fun of some of Scott's home movies. Thus, history was made. Nick does the voice and  puppetry of Jerald, and he also stars as Dr. Frostbender's assistant, Gus Foldy.

Kevin Bird was the first fan the show ever got, and, due to his being friends with director Scott Lange, was invited to film an episode with the crew. They immediatly hired him as a full-time character. Kevin was hired to do the voice of Gummer at the beginning of Season Three. Kevin also stars as characters such as 'Rameriz', 'The Wise Old Man on the Toilet', 'Humanity', and more. Kevin joined the cast in episode 302.

Austin Altena was one of the original three Crypters, along with Nick and Scott. Season One was shot entirely at Austin's house. Austin did the voice of Vulture. He also occasionally starred as characters like 'Evil Chicken', and 'Gregor'. He quit after season one, and was replaced by Austin McGuire.

Brett Lange, Scott Lange's little brother, stars on MFTC as the voice of Chomper (Season Two on). He also  built the puppet Jarald, and occasionally does minor writing for the show.

Jackson Robbins did the voice of Jarald during episodes 4 and 5 of MFTC: Season Three. This was because Nick was not able to do the voice of Jarald during those episodes. He was also a charter fan of MFTC.
