MountLochan Border Collies

Monkfield Mountain Song of MountLochan

In 1991 I decided to get my first dog. I knew instantly I saw her that I just HAD to have that one, and I then discovered I had my once in a lifetime dog, and soul mate. She choose the name 'Cherokee', from a list of more normal names, and for 14 years we were inseparable. She was a graceful lady, wise, well manered and very popular with humans and dogs. She was still very capable of mischief making though!

Together we lived a rich, fulfilled and very happy life. She touched the lives of many. We lived life to the full right to the very end, and nothing was left undone.

Cherokee has joined her dear friend Ceilidh pup (Mossyfern Tutti Frutti) who went to Rainbow Bridge in May 2002. She leaves behind her other devoted friend Corrie-Cas.

Run free my dear friend, and God bless you.
