We started the season at easter 2005 when I entered the Southern Border Collie Club show. Over four classes in Elementary and Starters, we placed an amazing 4th, 5th and 7th. I was thoroughly delighted!
In June we won out of elementary by winning both the agility and jumping at Newton Heath. The following month we won out of starters at Tuffley. That was an amazing weekend as we placed 2nd in elementary, 1st in Starters and then went on to get 14th in Novice. When I could guide Corrie round the course for a clear round, we usually won it. Often with around a massive 4 second lead!
In August we became the first starters ever to break 300 points in the Agility Club Voice national league table. At the end of my first year competing we finished with a very credible 2nd place in the league and were the highest placed elementary competitors. We had 19 first places at K.C. shows (which I believe to be a record, the previous being 14), and an additional 9 1st’s from UKA and other shows.
Since competing in Novice, we have picked up a number places there too, the highest being 2nd in novice agility at Corton.
We also qualified for the Arden Grange, DINAS, First Contact and Agility Club starter finals.
What a sensational first year in agility, how did I ever get that lucky to have such a fabulous little dog! I really hope I can do Corrie justice in 2006.

2005 was Corrie's first fabulous year for Agility. She became the Midlands Border Collie Club Top Agility Dog of the Year.....
