Special Edition, Saturday, 7/4/09

An Amazing Fireworks Display has just ended at Bluff Creek Falls. It was Awesome! No holds were barred. No expense was spared. Last year's show was good. This year it was Fabulous! Magnificant, colorful, striking display of lights, exploded and shot across the night sky to the ooohs and aaahs of the mesmerized crowd. The quality and quantity  rivaled the very best fireworks displays anywhere! Tim & Gerry, the owners, delivered on their promise to have twice as many fireworks as last year. Member's Lester & Mike upped the ante with an additional "Car Load", literally a car load, of the pirotechnic devises. The guy's loved it!

The holiday celebration began earlier in the week when member's Jerry & Richard, Glen & Jimmy and Tim & David arrived to spend their week long vacations at Bluff Creek Falls. They generously provided Complimentary Marquarita's and Sex On The Beach Cocktails to anyone and everyone around! Plus, they  whipped up lots of fine grub and treats to share with everyone! For example: Free Picnic Lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs, complete with all the trimmings; a Spare Ribs and chicken Dinner with homemade baked beans, potato salad and everything else that goes with a great summertime meal. Their goodwill and kindness didn't end there. They also gave, to everyone here, several real down-home style Breakfasts and Brunch's of biscuits and gravy, bacon, a variety of egg dishes and more. Last, but definately not least, they made gallon, after gallon of Real, Old-Fashioned, Homemade Ice Cream! Nothing says 4th of July better than fireworks,  old-fashioned ice cream and a Bunch of Great Guys that just can't do enough to make sure everyone else has a great time!

Today's Bulletin, Monday, 6/22/09

It's summer at Bluff Creek Falls. Every weekend since Memorial Day has been very busy! While there's always room for tenter's and day passer's, rental units and even RV sites book-up fast! It's not unusual for weekend guests to extend their stay by several days or in some cases by several weeks, further reducing the number of available sites. Please make your plans as early as possible.

Don't worry about hassling with coolers full of groceries. They have you covered. Bluff Creek Falls offers breakfast, lunch and dinner! The menu is limited to a variety of good breakfast selections, outstanding burgers, and regional favorites like fried bolony! The food is good and reasonably priced. Ice cold soda, bottled water and bagged ice are also available. However, they do not carry beer. You are more than welcome to bring your own food and beverages, but it's good to know they have it, if you want it!

What ever you do, don't pass up the opportunity to experience this Shangra-la. Like they say' "Bluff Creek Falls, you're gonna love this place!"

What's Up? Thursday, 6/18/09

You're headed for a Good Time! The weather forecast is calling for lots of Sunshine for the first weekend of summer. The Pool is crystal clear and refreshing!  Get Naked and work on your tan. Or don't get naked and just enjoy all the guys in their birthday suits. The mountainside will be several degrees cooler and perfect for a trip to the Waterfalls! At the same time the temps will likely be hotter on the Cruising Trail, where the New Barracks Playhouse has been a hot spot! Whether you're looking for Fun & Excitment or Tranquility & Relaxation, you'll find it all at Bluff Creek Falls!

In addition to Friday & Saturday night Bonfire's and their Famous Pot Luck Saturday at 5:30 sharp, and the Guided Tour to the Waterfalls, the New Barracks Playhouse complete with Sling! Video Room! Glory Holes, and much more! It's also Joshua's Birthday Celebration! You'll have a Blast!

Be good to yourself! Come to this beautiful, fun filled mountain top and have a great time!

Correction, Sunday, 6/14/09

Due to an unfortunate oversite, Big John's Mountain News article covering the Memorial Day Weekend neglected to mention the generous contribution made by Arthur & Mark. They whipped up a huge batch of "Hurricanes" and handed them out to the crowd.

Everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend, due in part to our good friend's Arthur & Mark. Thanks guys!

Go ahead! Believe your eye's! This is Joshua! He's having his Birthday Party right here at Bluff Creek Falls, Saturday, June 20th! Best news of all? You Are Invited!

Actually, party time at Bluff Creek Falls always starts Friday evening. This one is likely to go straight through the weekend! Naturally there'll be breaks, every now and then, for inconveniences such as sleep! It's always fun on this beautiful mountain top. Try to be here!

The Evening News, Sunday, 5/31/09

Tim & Gerry, Bluff Creek Falls owner's, want everyone to know that they..."are going all out with Fireworks for July 4th!" Plus several member's will bring even more of the pyrotechnic devices to light up the night. It's safe to say it will be an exciting & spectacular celebration!

As additional "4th of July" plans become available, you'll find them right here on Big John's Mountain News. Meanwhile, booking's for the big holiday have been coming in at a strong pace. Please make your reservations as early as possible and come join the fun!

Here's The News, Tuesday, 5/26/09

Memorial Day Weekend is now history! Despite occasional rain shower's, a good time was had by all! As a matter of fact, there were long enough periods of sunshine for bun sunning! Although, for some guy's it was more like bun burning! The schedule of events was quite lengthly and included a Meet & Greet Party and maiden fire pit burning in Big John's back yard. Jell-O shooter's were provided. Following the party the crowd gathered at the Bonfire where various liquers were past out.

In the morning a hardy Big Bluff Breakfast and fresh coffee was enjoyed by many. A bunch of guys took advantage of the free guided tour to the Waterfalls, which were especially beautiful following the recent rains. After a short rest break, it was time for their Famous Pot Luck at 5:30 . Always a cornucopia of goodies, this weekend the food was exceptionally abundant and lavish! The feast was topped off with strawberry's dipped in Godiva Chocolate!

Next up was one of the Biggest Highlights of the holiday weekend, The Party at Daddy's Bondage Barn! Just about everybody showed up for this always popular event! In addition to the endless, free, White Russian Cocktails, the Dungeon Demonstrations are euphoric to some and mind blowing to other's! But, always fun for everyone! At the Saturday night Bonfire, complimentary "Sex on the Beach" cocktails were handed out!

For many, the party went straight through to Sunday morning! Again, a sumptuous breakfast was at the top of the agenda  at The Camp Kitchen, followed by on-the-house Brunchtime Bloody Mary's! Later that day, all the guy's were treated to a Holiday Picnic that included Hot Dog's, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, and more!  As daylight turned to darkness, another Bonfire was set a blaze!

In addition to all of the above, The New Barracks was an instant success! Completed just in time for the big weekend, it was immediatly and continuously put to good use! Located on the Cruising Trail, this playhouse is the new home to the Sling,Video Room, and such niceties as seating, even an air mattress for relaxing and of course, the necessary compliment of Glory Holes! The only thing missing was the soon to arrive camouflage netting which will provide the finishing touch! The Barracks is destined to become a very popular aMENity!

Memorial Day Weekend was a huge success thanks to the efforts of many people. Special recognition, acknowledgement and gratitude must go to those that have gone above and beyond to make this Bluff Creek Falls celebration a great one! The list is not limited to, but must include Jerry & Richard, Tim H. & David, Matthew & Parker, Tim P.& Gerry B., De Wayne, Glen & Jimmy, Trenton, and Daddy Ed!
