Red Horse Racing announced that veteran NASCAR driver David Starr would return to race the #11 Toyota Tundra for Red Horse Racing in 2008 and the sponsorship lineup would be unveiled at a later date. For 2008, Starr will reunite with veteran Crew Chief Jamie Jones who led Starr to a fourth place finish in the Championship Point Standings in 2006

Lori Hamilton stated that the team has a verbal commitment from Dennis Setzer to drive the #4 for Bobby Hamilton Racing in 2008.
Kevin Harvick Inc. announced that Jack Sprague has signed a multi-year agreement to drive the #2 Kevin Harvick Inc. Chevy in the NASCAR Truck Series beginning in 2008.
