TERMS & CONDITIONS 1-CONTRACT WITH MOTORHOME4RENT. When you sign the terms and conditions you accept the conditions set out in this agreement. So please read them carefully. We reserve the right to vary the rates and conditions of hire to any person at any time and to refuse hire to any person at any time without reason, this includes the right to change the vehicles when necessary. We will be happy to clarify any points you may query. 2-BOOKING DETAILS. A deposit of £150 per week is required to confirm a booking along with a completed booking form. This deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from the hire fee. The balance will be payable 4 weeks before the hire date. A credit card number is required to cover vehicle insurance excess, which will be held against any loss or damage to the motor home. 3-HIRE INSURANCE. The hire fee includes fully comprehensive insurance of the motorhome for the hire period. An excess of £500 payable by the hirer is applied to all vehicles. The insurance document must be signed before the hire can commence. We recommend you take out insurance to cover personal accident and personal items. 4-COLLECTION AND RETURN TIMES. Unless agreed in advance, the motorhome will be available for collection on the agreed date at 8.00am and must be returned by 4.00pm on the last day of hire unless otherwise agreed in advance. If the vehicle is returned late you will be liable to an extra charge of £25 for every hour, or part of. No refund given for motorhome returned early. 5-SMOKING. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the motor home.
6-PETS.
Well behaved pets are allowed by arrangement.
7-AVAILABILITY.
If the motorhome reserved is not available as agreed, every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable or possible we will provide a full refund of all monies paid for your booking.
8-BREAKDOWNS.
In the unlikely event of a breakdown, the hirer should contact National Breakdown service using the number on the card attached to the windscreen.. The hirer should contact motorhome4rent before requesting any repairs in excess of £50 and obtain a receipt. The cost of a replacement vehicle or alternative accommodation is not covered.
9-DRIVERS.
Only those drivers named on the insurance form may drive the hired motorhome. All drivers must be over 25 and under 75 years of age, unless agreed before hire, and have held a domestic drivers licence for at least 3 years. Licences of all drivers must be produced, along with 2 forms of ID (1 must contain photo ie. passport) at the start of the hire.
10-CANCELLATIONS.
All cancellations must be in writing. If the cancellation is received more than 6 weeks prior to the start date of the hire period you will receive a full refund less the initial £150 deposit. If the cancellation is received less than 6 weeks prior to the hire date, then all monies are non refundable, except the insurance damage deposit. Although if we are able to re-hire the motor home for the period you will receive a full refund less the £150 deposit.
11-HIRE CONDITIONS.
-The motorhome must be locked and alarmed when you are not using the motorhome.
-Never leave the keys in the motorhome. This can invalidate the insurance.
-The motorhome should be returned with the toilet cassette empty. There is a £25 charge for
un-emptied cassettes.
-There will be a charge if the motorhome is returned with less fuel than was supplied.
-The hirer is responsible for any fines incurred during the hire period.
-Protect the motorhome from bad weather which may cause damage.
-The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the motorhome. Including using incorrect fuel, hitting low objects or damaging the interior.
-The hirer must not allow the motorhome to be overloaded or carry more passengers than the seating
allows.
-The motorhome may not be removed from the UK mainland without permission.
-The motorhome may not be:
-Used for hire or reward.
-Used for illegal purpose.
-Used while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
-Used for racing, rallying or motor trials.
