The meeting of Woodrow Derenberger (1966)

Salesman, "Woody" W Derenberger works in Parkersburg (Virginia Occidentale), and lives the city close to Mineral Wells. He is father of 2 young children, and goes regularly to the church.

The Meeting

November 2 1966 towards 19 H, Derenberger returns at his place since Marietta (Ohio) towards Parkersburg, travelling on the motorway inter-states 77.

A dark object, gray charcoal, apparently made of a kind of metal and formed a little like a sphere of old lamp with kerosene, having a base applatie and a top lit in form dome to arrive beside its van, travelling about at the same speed. The object stops on the motorway in front of him and Derenberger makes halt.

A man leaves the object, approaches the car of Derenberger, smiling in manner grimaçante, the hands wedged under his armpits, and asks him to lower its pane. The man makes 6 feet top, 185 pounds, made in between 35 to 40 years, has the dye chechmate and carries a coat runs with visible trousers below and a shirt buttoned to the neck (a typical appearance of MIB ). All its clothing is blue and enough brilliances, with an effect of flutter. They speak together during 5 or 10 mn, but via waves or telephathy , the man always remaining smiling and without opening the mouth. My name is Cold, Indrid Cold. I sleep, I breathe, I bleed you just like. Do not be afraid, says it, we come from a country which is far from being as powerful as yours. We do not want you evil. It asks has Derenberger what are the distant lights and the latter answers him that it is about the town of Parkersburg. The man says that a similar place in its country is called a gathering .

Before leaving, man called to Derenberger that it will contact it again and suggests to him informing the local authorities. The saucer, which stations in the air at side, returns then on the ground and another occupant joined the door to help his companion to go up. The door was closed, with a sound very similar to that of a door of car, will say Derenberger. Then the saucer takes off at an enormous speed.

Derenberger is shaken. Of return to him, it telephones the police force of Parkersburg and the history tells them.

A representative of a local station of recruitment of the Air Force also speaks with him. An officer says that it is apparent that Derenberger has certain experience .

Derenberger starts to receive wire blows threatening or comprising strange electronic beeps. According to Derenberger, the man continues to contact it télépathiquement, indicating to him to come from the Lanulos planet, in the galaxy of Ganymède [ which is not a galaxy but a natural satellite of Jupiter ] .

One evening, during a debate at Length John Nebel , a listener telephones to tell as to have visited the same extraterrestrial world to him as that described by Derenberger.

Derenberger ends up leaving to Brazil while announcing to be enceint of Cold, and having to leave in exile on Lanulos.
