Sara is trained through ALACE (Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators) to attend women in childbirth. Doulas provide practical suggestions during labor to help mothers relax, including touch and massage, emotional support, variations in position and other labor support techniques. Doulas also help partners to better understand the process and how they can help the laboring woman. Sara helps to reinforce women's trust in their bodies ability to give birth. This is an exciting time in a couple's life and I am so honored to be apart of it!
“Birth is not only about making babies.

themselves and know their inner strength.”
-Barbara Katz Rothman
