Crystals found on April 24th trip

Latest Finds at the quarry. Found today, April 21st, 2007.  I found 3 but one broke when I tried to remove it from the matrix.  One small bone that attached to one of the verts,  broke when I tried to wash it.

First we hit the quarry where I have found a total of 4 verts, 2 in good shape on past trips. No bones  of the mosasaur to be found. My mud  bud, Polly checking  the surface.

This second site was not far from the quarry and is a highway pull off site. Here Polly found a very nice, small echinoid. Most we found were too weathered to keep.  Where I am walking is what the terrain looks like there.

Cliona Sponge found in southwest AR. White Cliffs is not far from the other quarry.
