Trip hunt to the local creek south of Arkadelphia, yielded echinoids, falcatas, cardias, sponges, and various shark teeth. 2 teeth were enchodus and also a squalicorax kaupi. We were hunting in the Ozan Formation.

An echinoid that I found the next day, still in matrix. Unfortunately the other side had worn away.

Jim Coleman Crystal Mine

This little guy was in the McDonald's doggie walk area. Note the digusted expression on his face. I think he wants fries.

The mine is a working one, so no hunting in the actual mine area. Plenty of crystals that were clear, white, or yellow in color.

This crystal is very large and I didn't find it nor the ones below.... good thing I'm honest or I would have been tempted to say I found all the large ones pictured.
