Yikes, sana naman ay hindi tutuo na umaalingasaw ang basura sa atin. Nakalulungkot naman. Hindi ko man mararanasan ang dulot nito gawa ng ako ay malayo pero nakakalungkot rin. Gawa ng hindi lamang amoy ang maidudulot nitong mga basura kung hindi sakit rin.
Tanra ko pa noong elementary pa ako ay mayroon kaming YCAP. Isa sa mga project at ginegradan ay ang dumping pit. Roon raw dapat itatapon ang basura. So hukay naman ako. Pero gaano lamang naman kalaki ang tagiliran namin at gaano na lamang ang mahuhukay ng 10 yo na bata. In any case, nakahukay ng kaunti at na-gredan. Pero ilang linggo pa lamang ay puno na kaagar ng basura, kaya tinabunan ko na rin. Balik na naman sa pagtatapon sa ilog sa madaling araw.
Guilty ako ano? Guilty talaga. Pero wala namang choice talaga. Problema bang individual ito or problemang pambayan? Noong panahong iyon ay wala yata talagang basurahang pangkomunidad. Manghirap talaga hane. Sana ay may makaimbento na taga atin ng bagay na ma-rerecycle ang mga basura sa maikling panahon para hindi na abutin pa ng pag kabulok at pangangamoy. Halimbawa ay mga natural enzymes na bibilis sa pagprocesso ng pagkabulok para magamit sa pagpapataba ng lupa. Hindi rin naman yata maganda ang pasunog e gawa ng pollution ang idudulot.
Paano nga kaya? Mayroon akong napanoor sa TFC na may binuksang bagong basurahang pampubliko para sa mga taga Rizal. Montalban yata. Narinig ba ninyo iyon? Hinanap ko sa internet ay di naman lumilitaw. Anyway, sana naman iyong basurahang iyon ay malayo sa kabahayan ng mga tao at sana ay may mapakabagong pamamaraan upang di maka apektong pangkalusugan sa mga mamayan ng bayan iyon.
Samantala, sana ay magtulong tulong ang mamamayan at pamahalaan ng Morong at ng Rizal upang masolusyunan ang problema sa basura.

Benta sa Lahat: Banggaling nitong nabasa ko about farming and recycling. Ganito ah, mayroong kulungan ng manok... so me chicken poultry farm ka. Sa ilalim nito ay mayroong mga baboy... so may piggery farm ka. Yun palang taeng manok ay kinakain rin ng baboy. So kabawasan iyon sa food maintenance sa babuyan. Sa ilalim naman ng babuyan ay mayroong fish pond. Yun naman palang taeng baboy ay pwedeng pakain rin sa mga isda. So low maintenance rin ang palaisdaan sa pagkain. Eh ano naman ang gagawin sa mga waste ng isda. Well, ito naman ay pwedeng hanguin, patuyuin at ibenta bilang pataba sa mga magsasaka. So benta ka na sa pataba, benta ka pa sa isda, benta ka pa sa baboy, benta ka pa sa manok. Deng! Posible kaya ito sa Morong.

Last Sunday, July 1, 2007, Morong Bayan sponsored a trip to Pala to see Basil Valdez's concert with Sasha and Agot Isidro. Isang pana dalawang ibon. We enjoyed a relaxing evening with Basil plus we supported our association who in turn will be supporting PAKITAMO and Banda Morris in Morong.
It was the hardwork of our one and only secretary, Joji Castillo Knapp, that made this trip a success. Wala po siyang tigil sa pangungumbida at pagtatawag sa telephone hanggang sa rumating ang bus sa Home Depot, Baldwin Park noong Sabado ng umaga. Maraming salamat Joji sa iyong walang sawang pagsuporta sa mga adhikain ng Morong Bayan. The bus was almost full. We were just short of like 5 people to be considered SOLD OUT.
It was freezing when we initially boarded the bus. But thanks to the warm welcome, jokes and laughter from each other, we don't need to wear our sweaters. The minute the bus hit the freeway, Bart, Lulu, Shirley, Rudy, Luis and myself started serving the food. Brenda brought some pancit, Wilma and Breanne prepared some chicken sandwiches, Charito prepared kutsinta and Sandra baked delicious cupcakes. Virgie, Brenda, Joji and Gina, on the other hand, collected the fees for the bus and the concert. The system worked like a well-oiled machine. Thank you all for your efforts.
We arrived at Pala around 2:00pm and we were welcomed by our kababayans who produced the concert. That was very nice of them. Iba taga Morong talaga! Thank you to Bosam, Bebeth and the production staff.
After registering, nagkinamuya na. Isa isa ng nawala ang mga pasahero. Kani kanya ng panadag at pagpili ng slots and tables. Some of us went straight to the concert venue where we saw Jocel Samson De Castro manning her station, selling tickets, etc. She gave some beso beso and a little chicka chicka then went back to her business. Joji, Brenda, Gina and Virgie went to work again to figure out the financials of our association in relation to the concert. Lucky me that's not my paper (papel) anymore, I went straight to the concert venue and watched Basil and Sasha practice. Sasha was amazing! She doesn't look like a woman older than 35. Like she said, daily Belo kept her looking good.
Anyway, I better go back to work. Kahiya hiya na sa aking employer. Marami pong salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta sa fundraising na ito. Ang inyo pong suporta at tulong ay itutulong naman ng Morong Bayan sa Sining Pangkultura sa Morong. At kung kayo po ay mauuwi po kapag Mahal na Araw, makikita po ninyo ang kanilang palabas. At kung pista, maarin rin po ninyong mapanoor sila.
