Morning Mist Nubians and Boers

Welcome to our home on the World Wide Web. Morning Mist herd is part of Rockwell's Journey's End Jerseys (http://www.freewebs.com/journeysendjerseys) located on about 120 acres in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. We are located in SE Ohio just off of I-70. The herd is more a commercial herd than anything else. We do not show, do not LA, nor do we register very many of the herd. The goats are mainly for brush control and just the joy they can create when looking out at all the kids bouncing around. A new addition this year is Goat's Milk Soap. Some of the does will be milked this coming year for the production of goat's milk soap. We have had goats here on the farm for a decade now.
We are focusing on raising Boer, Nubians and crosses. Our herd sires are either pure Boer, pure Nubian, or Boer crosses. The breeding herd is still growing and where we stop we haven't quite decided yet.
We tested 29 mature goats (26 does, 3 bucks) for CAE in August of 2006. If you are interested in the results feel free to e-mail me.
