11/09/09
Please check back later this week! The ENTIRE site will be updated! HUGE sales list will be added!!
We are a small rabbitry located just outside of Santa Maria, on the central coast of California. We breed and show Mini Lops. They are considered a medium, compact breed. Senior weight is 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 lbs. Ours average around 6 1/4 lbs. for the does, and 6 lbs for the bucks. They are shown in 2 varieties, broken and solid. Check out our links page for more detailed info, on this breed. Our ML foundation stock consists of L.A. Ears (Laurie Adams old ML line), and DeSurra's. We are breeding for smaller more compact bodies, larger heads, and some of the rarer colors. We also breed for temperaments.
We always have rabbits available (or we can find them for you). The majority of our litters are born Feb-May, but we also have brood bucks and does available as we have their offspring to replace them. We only have 30 holes dedicated to our Mini Lops, so we only keep what we need for our breeding program. What we keep isn't always the best of the litter.
We are having a blast going to shows, meeting new people and visiting with all our bunny pals. And it is an added bonus when the kids win. They have done very well with their home bred Mini Lops.
I started showing in Open with my own MLs. I picked a doe out of one of litters from last year. Since then I have had my 1st litter. I have kept a buck and 2 does from that litter. I now have 2 litters that will be ready to show in another month.
We are all members of the ARBA and MLRCA. The kids are members of their club they founded in November 2006, the Golden State Youth Mini Lop Club. Shianne is also the District 2 Youth Director for the Mini Lop Club of America.
Thanks for visiting our site please sign our Guestbook,
We had to scale back on the number of shows we went to this year, but the kids are still doing pretty well.
