Why was this RPG created? Why didn't the creator just join any of the other 400,000 RPGs on The Lord of the Rings? Why an overview when EVERYONE KNOWS what this RPG is going to be about?

Those questions are probably running through your mind as your read this.

Mordor Rising is an idea that I've been toying around with for about a while now, and finally, I am acting on my thoughts. I've read that J.R.R. Tolkien wished to compose another saga, another chapter, another legend in the world of Middle-Earth. This time, where men dominate the world, and another evil creeps forth.

I know that I've changed a few things around. How Aragorn and Arwen were the king and queen (respectively), how Elves still lived in Middle-Earth, etc., but the general idea goes and tells of what happened after 'The Lord of the Rings.' I would really appreciate it if people join in my effort to create, or rather, continue a tale of the world that J.R.R. Tolkien had created. I know this will be quite fun and exciting, and I will do my best to run this site.
