Instructions
1. First, find a pair of panties that you really like, as they will be the pattern. Draw the contours on a piece of cardboard or something.
2. Tada! A pattern! If you look at my "original pair" there is a seam in the front, that is why this pattern might look a bit odd.

3. Cut out the pieces in your fabric, and set aside a piece that will be used to line the crotch of the panties.

4. The lining of the panties is going to the back piece as the picture shows. You are folding the fabric over the seam to hide it in the next step.

5. You are now going to do the crotch seam. Put the front and back right sides together, the lining is going in this seam too.

6. Clean the seam.

7. Sew side seams together, and then clean those seams.

8. Now the basics are done, and it's time for elastics and details.

9. First, put on any details you may have: lace, beads, extra stitches, etc.

10. Cut two elastic pieces to fit around your legs. Sew the elastic to the wrong side of the fabric, and make sure in the front that you do not stretch the elastic.

11. When you stitch the back, make sure to stretch the elastic a bit.

12. When you are done with both front and back, turn the elastic over again so that you can't see it, and stitch it closed to make a nice ending out of it. Remember, no stretching in the front, just the back.

13. Should look like this now:

14. Repeat steps 10-13 on the other leg:

15. Almost done!

16. Time for waist elastics: stretch the elastic out a bit for a snug, but not too snug fit.

17. Voila!
