RI 4-H Teen Council
4-H is the youth development program of the Cooperative Extension System. This informal eductional program is conducted by the US Department of Agriculture, State Land Grant Universities, and County Governments, plus combines the work of federal, state, and local Cooperatiave Extension staff and volunteer leaders. In Rhode Island, 4-H is the Youth Development Program of the University of Rhode Island Coperative Extension.

All teens ages 12.5 - 18 as of January 1st are welcome. Join us! Come to a meeting and become a member of the RI 4-H Teen Council. Meeetings are the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Peckham Farm from 7-8+ PM, When April rolls around again, meetings are twice a month(the 2nd and 4th Wed. of each month in preparation of 4-H Fairs etc.We make a difference by combining leadership skills with community service. We learn life skills like responsibility, decision making, communication skills, problem solving, commitment, respect for others, and teamwork.
