Released in May 05, this game accompanies the popular Ruby and Sapphire. Your character even looks the same! (Except, of course, your headkercheif-thing is green) Once again, you are in the region of Hoenn with the same cities and gyms. The Sky Pillar and Mirage Island are intact. Things seem fairly the same...or do they?
Emerald does have its quirks and changes. Sootopolis City has a new gym leader, Juan. And, the biggest change of all, once you beat the elite four you can go on to the Battle Frontier. There you will enter seven areas and battle lots of trainers, each area ending with the head and toughest of them all. Along with all of this, you have both Team Magma and Team Aqua in your game this time. You must awaken Rayquaza and save the world from uttermost destruction as they unleash Kyogre and Groudon...
