The first group of pictures are from when the door was installed.
Timer on inside of door
Stainless pieces in perfect condition, blemishes that appear in photos are from hand prints or other dirt and grime marks.
Hinges and steel framework are all covered with stainless trim except for the sill plate which has no cover as it is normally covered with whatever flooring material.

Another example of discoloration of the stainless due to grime. Ordinary cleaning is all that is needed to give stainless a uniform look.
Hard to see: Thick stainless vertical bar towards the inside of door is what slides in and out to latch the door shut. There is one on the left side and one on the right side.
You can cut the hinges all you want because the locking bars are what actually keep the door closed and locked.
