Bad luck?
Hope not! But I finally managed to get my hands on the Photoshop files for #90, and therefor I have now been able to make the final corrections. It's not that big of a difference really, but still...! Currently working on #91, of course, hoping to get it ready before November ends. Until then, take care!

My real life situation is preventing me from using my own computer at the moment, so I can't make the final correction edits for issue 90. However, I do think it still can be enjoyed as a (half) complete issue, and therefor I've decided to release the issue a bit earlier. So, here it is.

It was with great disappointment that I found myself thinking of buying a PRO account for Photobucket.
As a student, I really didn't feel comfortable to put my money on something I do as a kind of charity.
But now - thanks to some recent donations and encouragement - I felt strong enough to go through with it.
It's finally time to spend less time on worrying, and more time on providing.
As most of you know, time is money, and at this time I really need more of the first than the latter.
So thanks a lot for all support. It means the world to me.
Keep in mind though that moving everything to the PRO account cannot happen over night.
I have began to transfer some stuff to the new account, but it will take time.
Plus - I once again have to find a new place to stay, my current contract ends at november 1st.
So bare with me this upcoming month, I really have to take one thing at the time.
But - of course I will do my best to continue to provide the online comics for teach 2b witch!
Issue 89 will be out ... tonight? tomorrow? Friday?
I don't really know, but it will be very very soon ...

I've got three things to say about the release of #88:
1. I recommend you to not look at the inner cover page until
you finished reading the issue... it gets better that way!
2. I divided the comic into three parts this time, as an experiment
to test if it will help me with the bandwidth problems or not...
3. and please, take it easy with loading! the less times you load the page
- the more people after you will be able to read it without trouble...

Just making a quick update to let you know I have updated the 'currently off-line' list above,
and I'll keep it updated, so keep an eye on it.
Also I want to tell people to NOT contact me anymore about the FTP being down - because I already know.
But I can't do anything about it I'm afraid, since it's not my server.
If you want more information about this, go to the forums.
As for my real life - a new school term has just begun, and this might affect my witchy work..
but don't worry, I'll still keep making updates at least once a week.

If you have read my previous update, you'll know why I'm asking you for this next favor:
Please avoid unnecessary reloads of the comic images during the first few days of a new release!
The best way to do this is to open each part in two separate tabs within your web browser
and keep them open. That way, there will be less traffic and more people can enjoy Witch!
Simple, huh? So I guess you want me to post the link now fine, here it is:

Photobucket has gone and done it, again!
This time, they have decided to lower the monthly bandwidth for each account from 25GB to 10GB!
This, of course, results in total disaster for me...
I've re-uploaded #85 and #86 and therefor, they should still be available.
Here is a list on dates when the rest of my currently off-line issues will be up again: (moved to top)
as for irmalover's, rojaws' and max9075's accounts, I unfortunately can't say.
If Photobucket doesn't change things back within the next week, we will definitely look for a solution.
But as things are now, I'm strongly recommending those of you who have already read all the issues,
to avoid revisiting them over the next few weeks. Thanks for understanding!

I just wanted to make another site update to thank you all for the feedback I've been getting
through e-mail, twitter and my guestbook during the past few days.
I'd never even hoped for this much positive response, and I'm really happy and grateful for being in the position I'm in.
So thank you all once again for reminding me of why I do this, and most importantly that I love doing it.
By the way, I made some new Cornelia wallpapers the other day, you can
now find them in the extras section. Also, don't forget to check out the
rest of the extras if you're interested in more than just regular comics...

Sigh, releasing a new issue is supposed to be something I feel good about doing, but at this point it just feels like I'm releasing a piece of meat to a bunch of vultures, and I don't like that feeling.
Whatever happened to the love and respect, people?
Respecting each other's different opinions without seeking childish revenge is some of the bravest things you will ever be able to do in life. So let's be brave together, shall we? I don't want to leave this community - but sometimes I wish I could - just for a while - to enjoy my comics in peace and quiet without worrying about spoilers or drama. Be grateful for what you've got without letting your greed get the best of you - and you will be happier, trust me.
Now go read the last new power issue, before I start sounding like a psychologist.

Hi guys. Guess what? Issue 85 is done.
If you are sensitive for spoilers (like me) I suggest you do not look at the art/intro page until after you finished the issue.
That is why I have put it as a separate link.
I will make the same statement as I did last time - that I cannot set a date to when I will have time for the next issue.
My guess is that it won't be up until august. Although, I might have time for some smaller updates before that.

My schedule has been and still is very hectic at this point, and it seems like some other people have a problem with understanding this.
Issue #84 is ready for you guys now, it's the only thing I've been working on since I got home from my first vacation.

Just letting you know I have now fixed the problems with viewing the latest issues.
Something seemed to be wrong with one of my Photobucket accounts, but the problem is now resolved!
In other news, me and 'my fellow crew mates' are currently working on the Olympic Special!
So be on the lookout for that one in the near future! But before that, of course #81 will be up... I'd say, sometimes next week.
Enjoy the weekend and remember: there's a big difference between using someone else's work for their own benefit (stealing)
and to actually spread media by providing it to people who can't reach it otherwise.
So, support the Pirate Bay or be against what I do here as a scanlator, because it's the same thing.

I didn't even have time or energy for school lately, and I see myself prioritizing Witch before school...
normally, that's not a good thing, but in this case it doesn't matter to me anymore.

I have received some bad news from both Linnzy and DieBySword.
It appears that Linnzy's scanner has broke down, and DieBySword's comics got lost.
But I appreciate that they tell me, instead of treating me with silence.
The good news are that there is a new W.I.T.C.H.cast episode online since Oct 18th.
I have had quite a lot on my IRL schedule lately, but next week I plan on having time for Photoshop again.

Astro special!! Yeah, at my site at least.
I just gathered some random extras from throughout my comics and decided to release it
during the same day - and that happened to be today! Here's what's new:
- A new minispecial called "It's written in the stars" (also available under "translated comics"),
- one new mini comic called "A matter of Stars"
- and 12 images of WE - representing the different zodiac signs! (available under "extras")
In personal news: I finally got myself a new (and better) job!
But unfortunately, there seem to be some trouble there as well, so I'll try to get away from there
(by getting another job) as soon as possible, even if most of the people there are very nice.

Now - before you say anything about the new layout - it's not my fault!
Freewebs updated the season template, which I normally use, to something new.
Maybe they thought they made it better, but they made it worse for me! 
So I had to find another template without fixed width.
This one looks good at first glance, but it still causes me trouble because I've got so many loose pages which are not made for this template!
That means I have to change A LOT.  Great timing, just when I've got a million other things to do.....

Scans of #66 were supposed to be provided to me by Babuna but since I haven't heard from her in over a month,
I feel like I don't want her help anymore. She's had a year to fix it, so to not keep in touch is not an option,
no matter whatever the excuse may be. So don't blame me for the delay. Right now we're discussing whether
I should translate it or not, since an English version will be out soon anyway.
On to the good news - it's Halloween! And what would Halloween be without our witchy witches?!

I have been writing about scanning my Orube special for months now,
but I never had time working on it ... until now!
Since Irmalover is doing most of the work with #61 and #62 - I will have a lot of more time left for extras.

Phew, I made it It's now 03:50 am and I've just finished #57 part 2!
I really wanted it to be ready before I went to sleep, and now it is!
Bad news is that I'm having the worst cold ever, so I won't be able to work tomorrow.
And I really, really hope that I'll get better until Tuesday morning,
because then I'll have an interview for a new job and I don't want to cancel it! *keeps fingers crossed*
But for now - I'll need some sleep, so - good night!

Wow, I think I'll use Photobucket to host images from now on,
since it seems like my ordinary image server has some serious problems.
But this doesn't mean that I'll be using their interface. I'll just direct link to their URL's.
So that's what I just did with #57 part 1, which is now complete!
Yes, I decided to release this one first while I'm still working on part 2.
So now you can choose if you want to wait for both of them or not.

I have been really busy with my real life lately, so that's why I haven't updated my site in a while.

Actually I finished the Second Christmas Special last night, but I didn't upload it until today.
The image hosting server often runs slow during the night (guessing eavning for you who live in the U.S.)

Oh my god, I will never use Google Pages again!
It used way too much of my CPU fixing those simple pages where now #48 is uploaded in a 800 pixles version.
At least the results are satisfying. ImageShack seems to be working again, but Photobucket is still messed up!
From now on, I think I will edit my own HTML pages, since there seem to be no perfect alternative in this cruel
world And yeah, if you haven't already noticed, I can tell you that I've uploaded a lot of new episodes lately!

Well, apparently ImageShack has gone all silly now, so no more hotlinking from there.
That means I must change image server for issue 49... again! And I don't feel like doing that right now.
So that section is temporary closed. (Still available at my back-up-site though.)
The good news is that Part 2 of #52 is complete. Hope you're being indulgent with my recent absence.
But my life is a mess right now. Anyway, thank you for all your support, but keep in mind that

Today I removed the Photobucket link from #49 Part1 and replaced it with two new pages
which contains the updated version! Big difference this time is that
I devided the comic into two pages only, which makes it 15 images per page.
Hope it'll work out for you, since I'm not able to create any more pages right now.
I will rearrange #49 Part2 later as well. If you are having problems with this new layout, please let me know.
I also corrected some spelling errors in #49 Part2.

I just found out that I won't have to translate issue #50 since there is an english version scanned already!
That is good news, even for me, because it means I can go straight to #51 ... or even further ahead?
We'll see about that, right now I'm busy finding a suitable image server for #49 Part1.
Since I have to update spelling errors, I must first delete the old copies from Photobucket and upload new ones,
but since Photbucket won't accept my 1000x wide images anymore, I have to find a new server.
It's not easy, believe me!

Yay! Finally I found a way to be independent in my work!
I'm a control freak and perfectionist, and I guess I work better alone.
Since Photobucket started to resize images, even if they didn't exceed 1MB,
I stopped uploading images there, but since my old uploads at Photobucket are still in their original sizes,
I'm linking back to that account for those specific scans.
Now when this site is up and running, I can finally concentrate on my scanning and translating again!
So keep an eye open for the rest of Issue#49, It'll soon be finished now, I promise!
