Rumor Control:

1. If you have the word "evil" in your username, on Friday the 13th Ms. Birdy and Dr. Quack will come and kill your webkinz.  -False! That has never happened to anyone. An older kid who just wanted to scare little kids started that one!

2. You can get a free webkinz online pet when you purchace a pack of webkinz trading cards- True! My brother got one. One out of every 36 packs of card has a free webkinz pet card.

3. They is a vanilla milkshake included in the cookie tornado recipe- False! All that hype about the vanilla milkshake was fake. Webkinz just hadn't released it yet!

Webkinz Causing Problems?

     Some parents are afraid that their kids are addicted to webkinz. This is a concern because parents really want to spend time with their children. It is hard to do this if they are always on the computer! Every once and a while take a break and spend time outside or with family! Some adults don't think that the free kinzchat is safe. Even if they need parent permission, some kids are posing as their parents! If you don't have permission, don't pose please! Your parents just want to keep you safe. Teacher are concerened that the toy is a distraction from school work! They are too absurbed into Webkinz World that they can't do good in school! Make sure you balance your computer time with your school work. Some schools made the rule of NO WEBKINZ ALLOWED! If you don't want that to happen at your school start changing your habits now. School is going to begin soon!

   As a lot of you may know, webkinz are very hard to find. If you have been a member since 2005 or 2006 (like me) , then you know that it hasn't always been this way! The webkinz craze started between January and March. Then when you walked into a store that you usually saw a full cart of webkinz in, you saw an empty one. You would walk up to a store worker and say "Any in the back?" They would tell you "Sold Out!" You were dissapointed and went home. Here is the reason for the shortage: adults buy the pets and sell them for high prizes on the internet. The kids can't find the pets so that they can use them for the reason you are supposed to! When a store get the plush toys in stock, they are gone quickly! Hopefully the craze will soon die among some kids so that others can have a chance to purchase.

Facts about the new layout:

• You can use it in full screen
• You can look at your pets 6 at a time instead of three
• Acess the "My Pets" page from your dock
• Sort item in dock and see how many of each type of item that you have
• The "Things to Do" menu is greatly organized and easy to read
• There is a splash of color on every page
• Lots of pictures
• New Ads
• The W Shop is set up differently
• There is a feature called "Charm Forest" that you can enter after you have bought and registered 1 webkinz charm
• The log out button is in 2 places: "Things to do Menu" and in the top right hand corner so you see it before you x out the window!

If you cannot see the full webkinz screen, then you can press "ctrl" and F5 at the same time to refresh the main Webkinz page. Then log-in again!  (this happened to me)

What are they?

Just little metal peices for a bracelet or something.

They sell for about $3.50 a peice.

They come with feature codes.

All of these will come with codes too!
