 This is the story of my broken family and how we all have become distant and full of hate. The story all begins with my mother Carol Ann Tomsic Chalem and her uncaring and selfishness that caused so much pain. She is the mother of 6 boys and one girl:  Louis Paul, Carol Francis, Lawrence Charles, Joseph Patrick, Robert James, Michael Francis and me Andrew Gerard Tomsic. She was married to my Father for 13 years, and convinced my father  to leave his job at Best Foods corporation in Chicago with only 18 years in to move to Tacoma Wa.. She said if he didn't she would divorce him. He did relocate the family, and she divorced him anyway. The year was 1976. My father grew a mustache and never dated again. I have never seen him really happy. I think this is the reason. My mother took everything including stuff meant for her children. She took my father's life insurance policy, savings of 25 thousand dollars, 7 thousand dollars in saving bonds meant for our college education with maturity dating back to 1964. Also, over10 thousand dollars in stock in IBM and Ford motors dating back to 1967. She didn't have the mother's value of living for her kids. I never saw her growing up! She was out partying and pretending that she had no kids at all. She even offered all of us kids to be wards of the state, making it impossible for my father to seek secure employment. My grandmother and Auntie helped out in raising all of us for my father. Even my mother's mother grandma Annie was not pleased with my mother and asked her repeatedly to come back to the family she created with my father. My mother never held me once in my life that I can remember.
The real problem today is now my mother is married to a Doctor of substantial wealth, and my brothers and sister have formed a collective amnesia about the past. Some pretend that their childhood was bliss in order to advance themselves in the substantial wealth of the Doctor Mark Chalem. I see my mom now as a hustler and my family in decay. Our Auntie Anna Marie Tried so much to instal values in us in the short time she was with us.  She died in a car wreck in April 1983, but her love for us is still there! What happened Louis to the person who always looked out for his younger brothers. You never even talk to anyone unless they are successful. You know that isn't what you were taught by auntie. You know! You just can't stop loving people one day. I used to look up to you , but today I see a phony person I don't know. I look up to Robert who talks to me even though he is the biggest success story of the family. He was never giving a chance to succeed, but he did. He arose from nothing ,and overcame so many problems and now has become one of the most successful salesmen for his company.  Robert's head hasn't inflated to the size of a Goodyear blimp! He doesn't look through me. And, he gives me his time. That is real success, Louis! And, Joe why do you hate Dad so much where he can't even see his grandchildren. Mother was not any better. She was worse!  She hit you over the head with a frying pan and kicked you out on the streets and didn't care anything about you. Yet, you are always visiting her and act as if nothing happened. She offered all of us over to the state, Joe!!!!!!!!!  I have the document in my possession, and I will post it on a site soon. Carol how come you wont see your dad? It hurts him to know his only daughter hates him, but last I saw yelling at you and your kid Jaime was mom. She even hit your son! Tell me what Dad did! He is alive today and wants to talk to you. We are so messed up of a family! Oh God! Auntie Anna Marie you were real. You showed this family how to love when its Mother left. Your legacy should be so great, but instead it is being actively destroyed by our hatred. You were the world to us kids! We need to remember you right now...The beauty of your never ending love for your nephews and niece. You created unity out of chaos! You sowed the tears left by mother Carol Ann Scheer Tomsic Chalem. I love you so much!!!!!!!
